In fairness, 200+ mana would be grotesquely overpowered with today's magick system and the post-teeth spells. Even 150 mana would be such a gigantic advantage that it'd warrant a nerf. I'm pretty sure c-elves still have a moderate wisdom bonus, and that's not really the problem anyway. The combat system just makes strength so vastly superior to all other stats that a low strength race isn't viable.

Yeah.. I can see how mana scores like that would be a problem, but wisdom affects more classes than just mages. There already is an item that affects your mana pool, so instead of lowering the wisdom of all celves, you could instead just cap any character's maximum mana pool at 140 or so.

Last post was May 2nd 2015. I think it's safe to say that this thread is dead. how is the elf scene in game these days? As dead as this thread was?

I have been reading the staff posts closely the last few days to see if I should reconsider posting here. As I interpret it, I am not breaking any published rules.
Purg, well it can't be dead, can it. I don't know what the elf scene's like at the moment, for the past few years I've kept away from it. With a couple of exceptions, the last elf a PC of mine knew was Fang. Even if "dead", scenes can be revived, like threads.

You're right but so is jcarter. A player was told to delete my account or face a ban. Maybe I haven't been following close enough on what constitutes a ban, but what rule did I break? Point is it's not just about the rules. If clearly being in the right in the moderately-probable event that you're banned is enough for you, by all means proceed though  |

Yeah, Bracken, be wary, evil is afoot, its name is Kim Jong Nergul. I know it's not against the rules but... they've gotten a bit rabid lately. They've been force-storing characters and banning people on mere suspicion of collaboration, without any warning or opened dialog whatsoever.
