Any one know if there's a pickpocket skill list around?
One thing I've always been curious about - how high does their sneak/hide/sap/parry/weapon skills go?

Any one know if there's a pickpocket skill list around? One thing I've always been curious about - how high does their sneak/hide/sap/parry/weapon skills go? Man it's been so long. I don't have a list on me anymore, but I do vaguely recall a few points: Sneak is something like 95 Hide is a little lower, at around 80-90 Sap is fairly low, 40-50 range Parry is also low, at around 40 (lower than ranger/warrior parry I believe, which are both around 50) I'm not 100% certain, but fairly certain on sneak/parry

Pickpocket has gotta be the most gimp class in the game, but goddamn having max steal is the greatest thing ever.

Not sure why they get sap, and no weapon skill for the apropriate weapon type.

Yea, they've had piercing/bludgeoning for awhile now. That skill list is outdated.

But I doubt anyone will say, as revealing that information would probably out your account. If you know, tell jcarter and he'll put the info out

Anyone willing to provide some samples of what maxed steal could do?

Once I was able to clandestinely obtain access to the Templar's Quarter. Upon which I was able to successfully steal the HG jailor's key.
An Interesting side-effects of doing so was that if you are not wanted (and not a templar ... or the like) and you unlock a jail cell and enter it, the code immediately sends you out of the templar's quarter. I myself am aware there has been mis-use of this "teleportation".
AFAIK this is the reason why the key is now worn around the neck the jailor.
Said key also unlocks the room within the jail where all the equipment stripped by the guards is thrown. There can be interesting stuff in there at times.

I once heard a story of some guy pickpocketing a wand from a templar. That was some hilarious shit. I never really learned if it was a true story though, but it sounded real.
PS: Pickpocket got wtfpwned by his own employers and the wand returned. He bragged too much about that theft.
