Staff force stored Quick IIRC, and good riddance. Player had max karma and effectively quit. At least, that's what I remember, been ages since I checked his pinfo.

They were all bad, i.e. Gin, Marin and Spider (avatar played by Bhagharva).

They did wipe out the original Council of Allanaki Mages (CAM), so there is that. I do miss Bones though.

Just so we're 100% clear. Quick was not just a Nilazi, he was also a psionicist. He had custom casting emotes and a shit load of other stuff built into his PC.

He use to fuck with people pretty hard over the way.

The whole Quick saga went on while I was on a break but... Didn't Quick have a partner?

Gin was a psionicist, not a whiran. There was also Marin (that nerd Mansa), who I lovingly killed.

There was also a rukkian turned sorcerer named Shattered who sacrificed her entire tribe (Silt Wind) to become a true witch. She and Gin regularly mudsexxxed.

Spider was never played regularly, but rather showed up as Bhagharva's deus ex machina to fuck over plots and ensure Quick and his coterie of cunts always won.

Quick story:

I played this whiran known as "The Seik" a few years ago. After CAM had been demolished and Quick's troupe of troglodytes effectively controlled the damn world, I took it upon myself to wipe out their band of misfits.

* Went into the bar in the 'rinth and jacked Marin up with 4 gated elementals
* TRIED killing Spider. I had the bitch at negative HP but was unaware of the fact that I had to keep hitting him until he went below -10. If I had done that, he would have died. Instead, I turned him over to the templarate. Quick then WALKED INTO THE DUNGEON and got Spider out of jail. I shit you not. They had these fuckers dead to rights and staff let them go.
* Almost got Gin, had him mortally wounded and fucked Quick up a bit when he tried attacking. Quick was thrown against a wall by my wind armor and the ruk/sorc Shattered just sat there spam looking at me, not knowing what to do.

Ugh, if only I had known to keep attacking Spider =/

I myself fought the vamps myself as well, in the tablelands and such. Almost killed them several times but they always managed to run away or some such. They all had perm infravision as well IIRC. This was before blind fighting existed so if they got you in a dark room you were dead on account of not being able to attack them back.

this was years ago when Bhagharvaraerarararara was on staff and it was his pet project/storyline/power fantasy. it was less people fighting them and more getting steamrolled because a Nilazi + Psion combo is nearly unstoppable. Nilazi can gate to anyone they have a psionic contact with, psionicist can break through barrier and recon out the area first to make sure they're not teleporting into the Gaj.

I knew a guy who was a Nilazi vampire. IIRC they were unable to be killed through melee; you could knock them down but they would just get back after they regenned. He ultimately got OHK killed when a Krathi walked into the room and cast dispel magick. it was really funny at the time because he jacked up so many dudes with his ridiculous powers but when he got it turned against him he was furious.
