Any 50 day warrior that can't kill a single, or even 5-10 spiders at once is not a very well trained 50 day warrior. My 50 day could destroy shit in waves. I said very high threat level for a reason. I was wearing mostly tembo/silt horror gear, I had advanced parry, advanced slash and journeyman shield use and I'm sure my offense/defense was good. I should have been fine. I didn't even get a hit in, I got insta gibbed. But... strangely enough is what led me to go to the room full of them. It was the only in the room in the dusty plains as being described (when looked at) as "it's dark over there" ...It was pitch black, and as I approached it spiders swarmed out of the room. I know for a fact several others had died at the same spot, as there was an inix mount and an iridescent beetle left abandoned, which is what lured me there...

Uhm yeah no shit. Also if you were a 50 day warrior you should have master parry, master slashing etc. I'm surprised you only had advanced parry. Parry is super easy to max last time I played a warrior.

Tavern sitting. Not even once. I prefered to hunt scrabs and raptors instead of actively training... So yeah, no surprise he wasn't great

Those 'dark' rooms are called spider dens. They spawn an unlimited amount of spiders until you burn the webs via holding a torch and 'use torch webs'. Well they're horrifying.

It's really cool that they put in these added functionalities and unique things like that but go figure that it's not listed anywhere nor even so much as hinted. How else are players supposed to know that the only other time to use a torch besides lighting something would be burning spiderwebs?

Actually, it's pretty intuitive. I dont remember, but it may even mention the syntax in the description of the webs. I mighr be wrong, but if you look at the webs and are still alive, then you will figure out how to burn them "very" quick.

Name: Cactus? Sdesc: Varies, don't remember Locations: East of the salt flats, in an area with scorpions you climb up to find another area above where the sentient cacti live and are aggro. Danger Level: Medium to high? Special: Don't remember any Materials:Don't remember any Those would be the Thornwalkers of Thornwalker Canyon. Fairly dangerous, especially since you have a good chance of fleeing off a cliff. It's a 2 or 3 room fall. They're probably one of the best examples of the imms making the world too damned big.

If I recall correctly. Completely unskinnable and unlootable. There is literally no gain in killing or hunting them code wise. But if you got an rp reason, go nuts.
