For what it's worth I had a nilazi a few years after kronibas did. She had apartments in Red Storm, Allanak and Tuluk. I would regularly portal between them, as well as into the 'rinth, without staff once raising an issue with it. Although admittedly I did not wander around any of them (except the 'rinth) with any magickal effects of any kind active, only a barrier. And Tuluk I actually -rarely- ventured into. Face it, drunkendwarf, Vanth just wasn't that into you.

And I have heard of other cases, too.
But the nature of Nilaz is to remain shielded from psionic and magick detection, so how can they honestly fucking blame me for thinking he would be immune to outright detection from Lirathans?
He was a buff Nilazi and had even been taught room reach by Quick.

I had the docs too. It was always my theory that the old conclave headquarters was the original home of the gith, which was described as a massive subterranean area, just like the conclaves base. You could be right. I -vaguely- recall exploring an underground area way back in the day with Takryn when he was making his ascii map. Believe it was in that area. The creatures inside were called Galith though, which I've never seen in the world since. They looked pretty similar to gith, but as far as I remember, they existed at the same time as one another, so the gith didn't just replace them. They're actually alluded to in Barka's post here: armageddonmud.boards.net/post/1804/thread as a language at one point.
