It was weak how Nyr doxxed my karma in an attempt to strengthen his argument.
That is my personal information, mother fucker, and you should have more respect for that level of info to go posting it all over the GDB.
Is it wrong of me to think that crosses the line in a huge fucking way? A persons karma level should be their own fucking business.

"Purge" was the first word that entered my mind when Nyr was made producer, and he is holding true to that, like banning me from the GDB for two weeks after totally trying to deconstruct me as a person and player in a very public way. If you're going to do that, have the balls to say it back publicly. Really, he should have kept his mouth shut if he wasn't willing to let me tell my side. At any rate, I'm glad this board is here because when I started telling my girlfriend about it, well, she had no idea what the fuck I was talking about, so it is good to have a place to give a bit of my side of the deal and also fume - I rarely ever speak to any other arm players outside forums at all, period, and such has been the case for years. Same for a good long while with regards to other players (outside a handful, one of which I'm kinda married to). And really, I know what you mean about the thing about not listening to your side. It's deleted now (lol) but in the 'are you satisfied' thread, I said I wasn't, and why. Which then turned into a ST editing most of my post out. Which then turned into another ST emptying it till there was nothing left but a youtube link to 'worf gets denied, over and over again' from one iteration of Star Trek. Which was awful, but fine. Until Wug started in to try and tell me how 'staff makes decisions' and how 'before I was staff, I thought (blah blah blah)' in a massive dick move of condescension, as that was over a year after I'd spent more than a year on staff, in an effort to discredit me. Being drunk, I immediately came over here to register and share, because of fucking COURSE I did. (The initial post was deleted because they'd already emptied it out after putting words in my mouth and mocking me, but you can see how it evolves from there, if you're so inclined) |

really dude? first off, you started the dressing down in public. and you posted on ASK THE STAFF of all places. you invited a response when you post stuff on the gdb that is critical of staff you put them in a tough spot, PR wise. they could delete your post, but then theyd be accused of censorship. they could ignore it but then theyd be accused of ignoring player input. so they responded because you didnt give them a choice but to respond. i dont get what people expect when they publicly attack staff. they have everything against you and the right to defend themselves, just as much as you do. We get enough of that from the NYPD and CIA - we don't need it in our hobby. Most of the time they do delete the post or ignore them, you stupid jackass. The only reason they responded to kronibas at all was because he'd been playing longer than them and had earned his karma the right away. He was a dinosaur and had respect. When it didn't go how they liked, they did delete and then ignore him. The only justification for defending staff is if you're actively benefiting from the system in its current incarnation and don't want the gravy train to end. --- What I wouldn't give for someone to get their hands on the codebase from like 2003 or something, and re-open the game like it used to be, but with a transparent staff structure that took into account voting by the playerbase. I would pay the hosting costs of such a game, so long as each year, the top headstaff were subjected to a majority vote on their authority to continue. They should be treated no differently from chairmen of the board, and we the shareholders. The public airing of debate and response to criticism should be taken for granted as a basic rule of behavior. And nothing about Nyr and Ness' smirky, self-serving circle-jerk in how they responded to Kronibas was even remotely kosher. But that's what you get when a smug cocksucker with a huge inferiority complex is in charge. And I'm not even necessarily against cocksuckers. Some of the best leaders are cocksuckers. There's a few cocksuckers on this forum. But you can't also be a smirky bitch with a gaping confidence problem, leading to hysterical self-defensiveness and painfully desperate affirmation-seeking behavior. what I find hilarious is people still dont realize what being a producer means. nyr, nessalin, and adhira are less involved with the game than theyve ever been. for the most part, youre dealing with storytellers and admins who run the show. the only time you get a producers attention is when you fucked up so much that an admin cant deal with you anymore.

I dont follow the GDB much, but I skimmed Kronibas' post, and I just held my breath. I didn't see the back lash... been a while since ive hanged here, but I think its a terrible shame to Arm to loose another vet. Especially a Tuluki? Sorry bro. Ive been tempted to loose my shit at times... its a human reaction. We are all just trying to save what we love. Sadly i've seen a few RPIs fall... its hard. Dude... if you could. Don't insult our intelligence. Nyr is malevolently fixated on the game. He micromanages everything, and did so even when he didn't have the authority to butt into various areas. He's an chronic intriguer. Adhira and Ness are worthless and detached ciphers - you were right about that. And it's true for a long time, the common defense of Nyr was 'Adhira and Ness are behind it too' or some reiteration of that theme. Now he's producer, and we're expected to believe he's hands off and observing with benevolent objectivity. Setting aside the fact that quite a few of those staffing now were handpicked by him (again, Adhira and Ness are apathetic burn-outs), Nyr's recent behavior on the GDB shows just how intent he is on controlling everything. I did not write this explanation for you. I've already figured you out. And I know why you're here. I wrote this for others reading this thread.
