I love how mentioning what little a producer does for the game = ass-eating and cybering nyr almost as if you read the exact opposite of what i said Come on. It's painfully obvious what you're selling. It's just more smoke screening for Nyr. 'Hey guyz, Nyr isn't that involved at all - it's the storytellers and admins that are in charge!' Please. Don't insult our intelligence. Nyr is malevolently fixated on the game. He micromanages everything, and did so even when he didn't have the authority to butt into various areas. He's an chronic intriguer. Adhira and Ness are worthless and detached ciphers - you were right about that. And it's true for a long time, the common defense of Nyr was 'Adhira and Ness are behind it too' or some reiteration of that theme. Now he's producer, and we're expected to believe he's hands off and observing with benevolent objectivity. Setting aside the fact that quite a few of those staffing now were handpicked by him (again, Adhira and Ness are apathetic burn-outs), Nyr's recent behavior on the GDB shows just how intent he is on controlling everything. I did not write this explanation for you. I've already figured you out. And I know why you're here. I wrote this for others reading this thread. Although, I think most won't need any assistance to see through your pandering fuckery. Now go back to cybering Nyr on skype. I heard you're really good at it. that's a nice generalization about everyone who's not joining the circle-jerk headfirst apparently you have sex with nyr if you are discontent about some things with the game but happy about others just stop embarrassing yourself |

what I find hilarious is people still dont realize what being a producer means. nyr, nessalin, and adhira are less involved with the game than theyve ever been. for the most part, youre dealing with storytellers and admins who run the show. This is completely and utterly false, as revealed by spending two seconds looking at the last month's worth of 'top 10 resolvers' and seeing nyr consistently in the top 3 as well as nessalin suddenly becoming re-interested in the mud. |

Statement of intent: I don't like the contemporary character discussing that goes on here and some other things. The merit I find in this forum rests in the fact that it is a place where many, based around negative interactions with a select few staff members, are able to share stories of perceived injustice. I am not a huge advocate for the publishing of IC info, though we have had spots before for that on irc where participants were staff members , with even Nessalin hanging around a lot. But even on IRC, the scope of information shared was minuscule as to what it seen here. My purpose for being here is to observe and share prejudices and poor behavior inflicted onto players by the staff, and I would even perhaps like to compile an organized record of the stories here and elsewhere, if but for the hope that it may spur change. I doubt anyone would attempt to seriously get you to cough up informaton unless it was directly related to a claim you were making. Not counting trolling. But it's worth mentioning that sharing IC information tends to serve a few purposes. usually someone just wants to share a cool story that won't hurt anything. And a lot of the time (as someone mentioned) it's as evidence for claims of abuse. but in some cases, sharing IC information is to make it more obvious when the staff retcon things. And this is important because they accidentally set up players to fail by pulling this shit. Especially Nyr. Because players whove been playing an area (say Tuluk) for 6 years would find themselves playing a Tuluki who is in complete conflicts with some of the doc changes he silently slipped in. Even though that was EXACTLY how Tulukis were supposed to be played prior to him sticking his dick in that part of the game. there are other examples. Tuluk is just one massive pile of glaring unannounced retcon mistakes. Nyr accused me of being abusive, and when I responded that he was so abusive that he had garnished an entire board of people he had abused, he banned me. It was the truth, but he banned me. Yet he was the first to insult me and characterize me as a bad person/player, which simply isn't true on so many levels and never has been. That's the main reason I decided to sign up for these forums and contribute my own experiences. If you have anything you saved on him please post it to Nyr's Greatest hits. But try not to just Nyr-bash. You can absolutely whale on him, just dont lose focus. Thats all. the thread's intended for posting proof of Nyr's misbehavior as a counterargument to the claim we shit on the guy for no reason. Disagreements, even heated ones, are healthy for any culture. Censorship is not. There is a place for censorship. i won't agree it is always bad. But it has to be handled in a consistent manner where everyone has a good idea in advance what is and is not appropriate. Written rules, in other words. What censroship should never be used for is keeping your process of punishing and rewarding players opaque. one of Nyrs favorite methods of bullshitting is talkng about something being approved of by committee or there being written policies or whatever. But theyre only visible to a staffer. So you should have known better than to question him as proven by something youve never been allowed to see. You fucker.
I wonder how many semi-critical threads Nyr has deleted in his time, that didn't conform to his desired narrative. Him, and the rest of Arm's current headstaff have turned the GDB and any notion of ethics or opacity into a joke. Treating the game like their own personal fleshlight. i like to think of them using it as their personal herd of sheep. For pretty much the same reason you mentioned fleshlights. But again. Most people on this forum seem to think that Nyr is the source of all evil. That's a very simplistic view of events. It's actually Adhira and Ness who facilitate him, and they do it knowing and probably even agreeing with most of his detractors. I've reiterated this a few times, but if people are ever going to realize what actually went wrong with Armageddon, they should realize that salient fact. i think you're oversimplifying. Nyr gets the most attention because he does the most shit. he goes full retard loud and proud on a near-daily basis. But you'd be hard-pressed to find someone here hating on Nyr who'd defend Adhira or ness.
They need to get better at alienating those they don't agree with. At this rate the game will still be around when they no longer have the time or energy to accomplish their goals. I wonder if theyll ever achieve critical mass with their cycle of 1) make everything require staff work 2) do nothing because overworked. you know, like if it will get to the point where nothing can be done in the game, while the staff does nothing. Because there's nothing left to replace with more work to refuse to do.
There needs to be an outside source of accountability. It is not fair to be dressed down in public and banned on the GDB to prevent defending oneself, but if that were the worst of Nyr's transgressions against those who have the AUDACITY to disagree with him, we as a game would all be in good shape. really dude? first off, you started the dressing down in public. and you posted on ASK THE STAFF of all places. you invited a response Real shame the staff deleted all the proof he started it. a real shame. ok, then punish them by not playing anymore. vote with your feet or just keep waiting for nyr to voluntarily resign (lol) your approval of our criticizing the staff is entirely unnecessary. not sure why you think your advice is needed either, particularly since so many people here already did that. it's already been established that you only come over here to masterbate; the only question I never got answered was if you need a cigarette when youre done. what I find hilarious is people still dont realize what being a producer means. nyr, nessalin, and adhira are less involved with the game than theyve ever been. if what you get high on is legal it shouldn't be. it's seriously fucked your mind up. i dont get what people expect when they publicly attack staff. they have everything against you and the right to defend themselves, just as much as you do. (none of the above is questioning what you posted, just playing devil's advocate with your tactics and expectations.) edit: see the dox-drop by vanth against bebop several years ago for an example of this i'm not aware of that situation but i don't think staff should be doxxing people that they have internet disagreements with. crazy, i know. I'm curious about Vanth doxxing Bebop and have sent her a message asking about it. Edit: she's working right now but will give me a holler later. |

I would also like to note that Kadius remained a clan devoid of characters, and Nyr left it after less than a year. So he comes into a successful clan, fucks it all up and destroys its playerbase, allows it to remain a thing devoid of any RP for his entire time as clan staff, then leaves.  |

I just got a vacuum purger and 3 gallon vacuum chamber. Used up several cases of butane and n-butane over the last few days and am purging it down into some of the dankest shatter and sap you could possibly imagine.
