That's a lot of effort combing through past posts just to prove a weak point desertman.
You have this fun habit of stating that you won't be participating in certain conversations again. I'm not going to tell you what to do with your online time but wouldn't a more productive approach to be to simply not enter the conversation to begin with? It's a lot like saying nyah nyah I get the last say and you can't do anything about it.

But pretending this conversation didn't happen did you not read the post where i admitted a conversation occurred? i have multiple posts that present attitudes counterintuitive to what you say I said. your statements that I confirmed things "beyond a reasonable doubt" make no sense whatsoever. again, i would never confirm anything "beyond a reasonable doubt" that i didn't participate or have a hand in. it's clear that you have major misconceptions about what happened in that five minute shoutbox exchange. all evidence points to otherwise of what you said. and surprise surprise, you have no evidence or anything to back up the allegations you're trying to make. but instead of accepting that you had the wrong ideas or misremembered something, you're accusing me of lying and trying to make an attack on my character while going "la la la i won't read any response" and running away. i guess i made the mistake of once again assuming that another Armer was a grown adult that could be talked to man to man and not a child that would make shit up and then run away when they got called on their bullshit. |

I think everyone's willing to accept that desertman is more of an expert on what jcarter meant in his posts than jcarter is. That is, everyone who has their biases to confirm by assuming so.
The premise is so flawed. It's as if Armageddon's secure information is so secure, there's only ever been one leak that was over a decade ago. I'll shoot a hole through your false premise, desertman; there's information in the leak which was recorded after said sleepless' roommate shenanigans, what with the name-shaming. It's a good thing you've decided to plug your ears and turn tail, because there's no real leg for you to stand on by continuing to insist that this leak and that leak are the same.

ignoring the weird obsession with control that desertman has, what with telling me how and when the conversation where he calls me a liar ends, everything about it is preposterous.
there's a crazy level of narcissism in there. i have no relationship with desertman. how i felt about the situation has been posted multiple times in plain sight on the board. i'm not sure why he believes i would sit down and give him some sort of guarantee or something on what happened. or that i would somehow tell him something different than what i've posted multiple times. or that he would be access to information which no one else has, such as some sort of jcarter guarantee on the level of information. then that he wants to sit here and tell me i am wrong and that he remembers it perfectly, with nothing to back it up and complete denial in the face of anything that would disagree with him.
but hey i'm sure he's an unbiased person considering he posted how much he disagrees with this and tried calling me out on a board he knows i can't post on to call him a liar. yep, let's just take his word on this one.

Now that everyone who's anyone has virtue-signalled on the thread in the GDB, it has been locked and the discussion may continue here unfettered and in earnest. Not that there's much to discuss; desertman has baited a trap for jcarter by putting words in his mouth, but unfortunately failed to notice that his failed narrative is impossible short of a time machine. Accepting that sleepless' slander is true, that information was leaked over a decade ago.
The wikileak has data much more recent than that, which means it's impossible for the two to be the same -- and likely to be completely unrelated; so much to desertman's chagrin that he had to pack up and leave before he could be held to defend his illogical stance. I think he picked the perfect time to shut up, because now there's no expectation that he will yet again lie and misrepresent what's been said on this board in an appeal to the approval of... whom? The staff. Hope you get your last karma, dman -- you've earned it this time!
And so this whole fabrication of SQL injections and hacking and specifically database breaching, as Nessalin cried about, can have yet another nail hammered through its coffin.

Dman, I am dissappointed in you. I'm not going to take a wild stab trying to understand your motive, but I can choose not to approve of your words. I thought you were better than that. You don't choose where a conversation ends, and your input is not so valuable that anyone needs to understand your position. Either clarify your statement thoughtfully, or go post some more ass smooches on that other board roughly half of us are banned from.

Keep up, bros. The SQL injection was a misdirection, and became virtually impossible past 2006. Barka lied about that because he didn't want to give up he had a ~source~, but when everyone got on him about it being illegal, he revealed that it was an admin on the inside who had passed the information along to him.
That is, if I'm remembering all the facts right. This game's GDB community has the weird quality of selectively forgetting facts in order to strengthen one's own position.
