About all I've gathered from this: Despite over ten years of playing Arm, I still don't know wtf a qynar is.
Hopefully closing Tuluk will encourage staff to show more love for tribals, both human and desert elf. Maybe they'll even reopen gith for play. Like others have said, I doubt they've learned from this, but one can hope.

Qynar is a fancy word for district. Strisasi or whatever is like tracts of land.
Example - Freill's Rest (Merchant District) is a Qynar. Red Sun Commons (the clay pit area with the statue) is a Qynar. The Grey Forest is a strisasi. The land east of Poets Road that is within the walls but still open land is a strisi, the fields.

kronibas just said in the suggestions from the shadow board thread:
this is exactly right. tuluk's gassing is just a symptom of the disease. tuluk was first to go cuz it was the weakest link, not for any other reason. the staff will keep shuffling there organizational charts and workflow diagrams to get to the root of the problem, im sure. what will they remove from the game next in order to ramp up the lean six sigma of Armageddon?

Well I haven't logged in here or played the game for many many months now but as one of the people who asked other not to play in tuluk after the stupid changes, all I have to say is:
AHAAHAHAHAHA. HOW'S THAT FOR BEING THE FUCKING CHANGE, YOU STUPID DUMB GDB BITCHES?
Now that I got that out of my system....
Lets not forget, Tuluk ran happily for the longest time with a small player-base, but then the stupid changes no one asked for happened, and the changes people were asking for, never happened. Shadow agents is still the stupidest thing I've ever heard. However, Tuluk closing is a mixed blessing since now the staff can focus on being more hands on in allanak, and we all know how staff interfering with players turns out. Once again another every time someone shares an idea, and the staff/GDB sheeple come out to say how stupid it is, don't ever forget all the comments people and staff made when discussing tuluk closing, the usual bullshit from the staff instead of having an open discussion about the possibility.
Instead of opening a remote fucking outpost north of luirs, you'd think they finally do something with Cenyr. sigh~

You're basically talking about a place where "I'm not supposed to talk to you...lol...so im going to be weird." was considered good rp. Can't really wonder why nobody wanted to play there or go there. If it was interesting in some way other than North Korea, maybe renaissance Italy or something like that...that would've helped.

I just hope good nobles app in and have staff support to make things happen for Allanak My secret hope is for the 'rinth to explode with criminal activity and incite a tsunami of anti-rogue tears on the GDB. I'd very much like to see Kurac smuggling becoming a major thing in Allanak as a source of conflict, but I don't foresee Ruke and the boring breed brigade doing much with the opportunity, so I won't hold my breath. I would even dare to dream of an open to in-game recruitment city elf clan, in or out of the 'rinth. One that isn't immediately strangled into inactivity by staff the second elves become relevant to the game outside of the tablelands. We're more likely to get additional Kitts as the staff pander to hurt feelings from the current Tuluk players, though.
