Im pretty sure hes playing along with kek and making a case for Peurto Ricans getting a penalty to diplomacy checks Actually Puerto Ricans have amazing diplomacy checks  We do get a lot of State Benefits -without- being a state. (Not that I agree I believe in statehood) Puertoricans would get too many bonuses due to being a mix of spaniards, africans and tainos. That's why they're BANNED from being a game race. there are currently three threads youre in that speak to the contrary.  |

You guys might be interested in a bit of an update on the health system that's going to be in LabMUD. Definitely a bit different and probably a bit more lethal in some respects. Also for people considering FutureMUD for things other than LabMUD, pretty much all of it is optional. You could set up Armageddon's health and healing system in the engine today, but you can also go for the stretch goal system if that's what you want. Are the only staff at the moment Wolfsong and Japheth?
I'm interested in this, but after seeing how other relatively new MUDs went I want to make sure the powers-that-be are entirely consisted of people I can trust to not be jackasses before getting my hopes up about anything.

I believe Krelm was a builder but will not be staffing and that Wolfsong/Japheth will be the only staff for the initial launch. They intend to bring on other staff later down the line to teach them how to mantain and use the engine.

I've never personally interacted with wolfsong or japheth in a mud, but I've heard a lot of great things about them so I'm sure I can trust things to not get fucky. Krelm is pretty cool, too, so I wouldn't have minded if he were doing more than just building. Here's hoping they can find other level headed people to help bear the weight. |

Most likely it was down due to a crash. I spent all that time making sure it was stable and then rushed a bunch of stuff in yesterday for chargen, has been responsible for a couple of crashes already. That's what Alphas are for though, catching this stuff.
