I disagree, but whatever. Aside from some of the new changes they've made, there hasn't been much to talk about. Aniah being denied a reasonable spec-app for delivering a heartfelt apology was kind of shit, but eh, changes are always gradual.

Nonsense. He kept insisting that extended subguilds were universally available to everyone without limitations, so it was fine for some of them to be way better than others. ima stop u right there because that bolded shit is all u. i already clarified that everyone starts out with the same number of specapps per year to use towards whatever advanced subguilds they want. u decided this universal opportunity wasnt 'universal enough' to level out the playing field, which i pointed out was the equivalent of bitching over the fact that the opportunity to play in a clan isnt 'universal' when uve played in the same clan with the last char those opportunities are available or not based on ur actions, and everyone is given the same chance to use those opportunities. all u were doing was bitching about the fact that that equality of opportunity has caveats that players can knowingly affect It's been a while since this place was worth anyone's time. speak for urself. matter of fact i know a prolific poster who deleted his acct and then came back under a new handle a short while later. hes been posting an avg of 1 post every day over the last 3 1/2 months hes been registered here, but im positive someone like him wouldnt be circling these forums like that if it wasnt worth his time  It has become a forum of idiots. kettle pot you guys sacrificed any chance of this place having a purpose when you supported and defended a guy posting the stolen staff wiki which gave the staff an excuse to circle the wagons and revert to Nyr-era behaviour. theres the knot in his panties, hes been confusing his own made up idea of the boards purpose with the stated objective of these forums: objectives of these boardsthe goal of these boards is to be a place for arm players, both current and former, as well as other MUD enthusiasts, to hang out and chat in a casual environment. that's it. dude has the nerve to talk shit abt grumble when he cant even separate those two simple things  When you get rekt by Jkarr, it's time to pass the mic. lol yeah he prob shouldve stopped while he was ahead, but it looks like in his case 'old'twink habits die hard |

Does anyone know what the various subguild magicked classss give spell/skill wise? What about touched by stone, water, fire and wind?

Touched, atleast in the case of water, gives you two spells. Apparently they both can branch.
It also gives you a mundane skill you wouldnt normally have.

That means you gettt.. create water (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) . oasis (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) . . create wine (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) (Or mirage) detect poison (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) . cure poison (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) . . poison (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) . determine relationship (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) . identify (st=40, max=90, min_mana=0, go on=80) The ones with one dot could be any of the ones you branch. I'm sure it isn't all of that. |

I don't, I've only played a couple and found them vastly underwhelming. Unless you're just trying to twink like crazy with buff spells or maybe playing a merchant that wants to be able to defend themselves without grinding out offense/defense. They keep posting on the GDB that full elementals cannot currently be played (unless you already had one which I feel is ridiculous, especially because that includes the elementals that are now completely unavailable). They're clearly trying to string along all the people who want the full guild elementals back, and I'd appreciate if they would just say if they intend to bring them back.
