yep whelp may as well give it up nyr ruined the game gotta be a staff favorite to have fun anymore anyone who says otherwise and doesnt agree is just being a contrary dick may as well not even talk about it anymore armageddon is obsolete and bad lets just sit around and touch penises about how mean the staffers are and be way too surprised about favoritism existing or that grudges are a thing dont get in arguments with them because theyll hate you forever what pricks man i sure wish i had other games to play.

So my experience has been a near total opposite of what I've been seeing posted here... And I'm pretty sure I'm not a staff favorite?
Sorry for that.
Not to mention I've already admitted that my moderating and admining experience isn't exactly relevant when compared side-by-side to Armageddon and its playerbase.
And that "how do you live" quote was in reference to those posts on the GDB, where there was some supposed rudeness that I just didn't see.

And I'm pretty sure I'm not a staff favorite? oh ok well everyone must be lying then it can't be as if people have different experiences or nothing in the same post you declared that you still put up an example of your time on staff so yeah you're still implying it's relevant here, don't play dumb. it was a snarky reply to other posters who in something like 15 minutes time gave a few examples (which you managed to still take nyr's side on despite not knowing how mild or extreme the original content was. nope not a fanboy with his mind made up at all). people started out level headed with you despite your snark, you decided to keep it up through several posts, and at this point it's getting returned because you're wearing pretty thin. I have no idea why you're even still posting here, it seems pretty obvious you don't have much to contribute in the thread titled 'Why Are We Disgruntled' beyond copping an attitue telling us all how wrong we are and it's in our heads. |

I've never had a bad experience with Staff so far-- they seem to do really well if you keep them updated and inform them of when you're about to do stuff that would pull in a reaction from the virtual world. But in all seriousness, it's kind of sad to read some of the posts here. The staff can be arrogant and ungracious hosts, but they're still the hosts and we're the guests. If we can't agree on that then I'm going to stop trying to be reasonable and let everyone get back to the pity party.

On any count of me blindly defending Nyr. Alright Jcarter, you've got me on more than a few points... Many of them staring me right in the face. (I'm really not a good forum warrior) Yeah. After reading over it, you got me on a lot of it. I'm not going to deny that. I've already conceded on those points and am a wee bit more receptive to the idea of particular staffers being assholes. I should also add that no, I don't have 7 karma-- but that's not at all far off. That would be like saying, "Yes, look over and study the posting patterns of players with 7 karma and give them shit." to any staff reading these forums. That'd be silly. My main point there was, "I've disagreed with staff, and I'm certainly not a favorite-- but I have karma, oddly enough." And might I point out. This? This disagreement we're having? I'm not exactly viewing it as a bad experience. |
