Well, I actually like the MUD and being able to hold on to my account, so yeah, I'm not going to post anything that's going to get me banned. I certainly don't think what I've said compares to the information Anaiah made public. Also, Nyr already noticed I post on here, as Nantafiria@gmail.com is the email I use for arm/general gaming. That was months ago, so.. Yeah, I wager I'll manage just fine. the staff is whimsical about who they do and do not ban. anaiah got banned because she discussed staff side things which the producers said was instant ban, yet shalooonsh posted here for a while and so did bobo, who is a former staff member, about behind the scenes politics and game code respectively yet afaik neither of them are banned. imo it comes down to popularity and whether or not you advance points that make the producers look good that determines who gets banned. |

I actually made the account 'ultraviolins' before I ever got banned and managed to keep it by not revealing who I was or whatever. If I was aiming to not be banned, I'd probably refuse to show an email with staff as well. That said, if it is indeed that innocuous and involves nothing whatever IC and staff knows who they are on there and on here... they shouldn't be banned for showing the email. Logically. Let me stress the logically part, though, because we all know that logic doesn't always dictate decisions. |

If you really play and haven't been banned yet for posting here I HIGHLY doubt you'd be banned for showing an email. Hell, you'd practically be doing Nyr a favor with free PR on his behalf.

I never got told as much in an email, nor was it a request. Some staffers pass by the teamspeak occasionally, and Nyr does so himself every few months or so. Someone asked him about this site over there, and since people got talking he ended up telling me he now recognised which account was mine. That's it.
