Someday this thread will gain traction and we'll finally be able to show staff who we like and why and who we don't and why and then at least they can never say we didn't provide constructive feedback on staff behaviours

Adhira, Nessalin: 0
Basically have all of Nyr's faults without any of his few redeeming qualities. Act just like him in requests and enable him but really add nothing at all positive to the game.
Cal, Talia: 8
They may share Nyr's opinions on some things but they are capable of behaving as a reasonable human and communicating as such.

It's one of Arm's biggest shame ever that Cal left Staff a few months ago. Talia is recently returned but she leads such a busy life that you never know when she'll have to leave as well again. 10/10 to both, I agree. I think I had one interaction with Nessalin ever, he wondered how come I had over 30000 in my PC's bank account, so I pulled a pair of black silk braies from my bag, he looked at me, I looked at him, we both silently nodded to one another and he went on his way. |

I'll comment on this when i can say who I am. i've actually had very few problems with most of the staff. As i sometimes point out, it's usually the people at the Admin/Prod level i'm talking about and almost never the STs. And even then it's not all of the Admin/Prods.
There are a coupl safe ones i could mention though, since they've been around too long to date when I did what. I have a hard time having an opinion on Nessalin; i virtually never interacted with him. So out of the other oldbies...
Sanvean - Decent, actually. i may have taken issue with favoritism she gave to the Muarki, but she was all right. Very open to suggestions on merit even if they werent popular with the other staff.
Morgenes - Always struck me as a good guy. Didnt interact much with him but he was always polite.
Krrx - i know him mostly by his work and from his rather famous Kuraci mul. Good RPer, great pc leader, great maker of organizations - like he radiated order.

All 3 of those were great. San because she had great interpersonal skills, empathy, and a good heart. I can forgive the Muarki stuff, no one ever cared about that small little part of the world anyway.
Krrx should be known for creating the Byn. He built it up to what it was during its golden years and what he did lasted for years afterward, even after mediocre staffers were in the Byn, what Krrx did made the Byn what they are.
Who even knows about Morg, he just wants to code shit.

In case you're out of the loop, Morgenes is also gone from Staff.
I think he left right about when Nyr was promoted a few weeks ago (Not related at all).
I misread, I guess he's stille around, just doesn't want to deal with all the drama anymore heheh

Morgenes is GREAT.
He has been patient whenever I was frustrated with Nyr and seems to be a very understanding guy.
When the news came out that he wasn't going to be handling stuff anymore and Nyr would be taking over some of his world load, I just knew that shit was about to get bad.

Nyr is a malevolent, goat-felching cocksucker. But at least he's an obsessively active, malevolent, goat-felching cocksucker. Most all of his ideas are bad, and most of his energy is spent on shutting stuff down he doesn't like. But at least he spends energy. I'm sure there are days now and then when he forgets he's only in it for his own gratification (even if that was his overwhelming motivation for getting on staff, he's been there so long now, that he's gotten delusions of being legitimate). Adhira and Ness are worthless. They're only there because Arm is the only social life they have, and have nowhere else to go. They cling to the game while not even having the drive or energy to do anything with it. They rely on Nyr to both take much of the flak they deserve, and to pick up their slack. They get off on the good cop act. Calavera and Taila are both decent human beings, and would be fine under leadership or different management. Taila is a bit of a lickspittle, though. |
