I don't inform on anyone nor do I communicate with staff. Which is sad because I had hoped the Armageddon staff would contribute an article to Optional Realities weekly rotation. They haven't yet, but I'll check back in 3 weeks and see where they stand. I will also take this moment of being randomly accused of silliness to say I'm to busy on that site up there to be informing on the fine people of this forum... Most of your a fine... Well most of you are alright... You're okay on a good day? I want to play mafia with you guys, isn't that enough for everyone?

EDIT - I won't personally check back with them because me asking them to write an article likely won't work. I'll have one of my not hated (hopefully) dev-team dudes to ask them.

EDIT2 - Also official apology for abusing the shadowboards with OR stuff. I do promise to reduce it down to the twice a week article announcements in the shameless plug thread. I just like that graphic and I felt like random accusations against my clearly impeccable character warranted a silly and shameless response.

Not gonna happen. As you well know the Arm staff is notorious for rarely ever leaving their safe little bubble.

Sounds like you got the ban you were supposed to get a while ago and they only now connected your account to your moniker. Makes me wonder if they didn't ban some other poor sod's account thinking it was yours, and didn't realize until now.

Do you think they will ever deal with you if you are here saying you expect them to not deal with you?

I'm not just talking about your post to Delerak. A lot of your posts here are not living up to what staff might expect from communication or even your own rules over on OR. You post IG logs with IC info here while disallowing it on OR, which is odd. You claim to want to deal with staff, yet you are sabotaging your own diplomatic reputation by doing that. This probably extends to anyone who associates with you, like your fellow Project Redshift members, which is unfortunate because they might actually be truly neutral.

If I was a game owner, I wouldn't post on OR because I wouldn't feel like I was entering into an objective forum. Your behavior on this forum and OR when examined together comes off as two-faced and self-promoting. It is basically the same reason why we'll never see Armageddon staff post in this forum. Sure OR is not as hostile to Arm as this board can be, but it's still being led by someone whose opinions on the game and its staff have been established by his words and actions.

Alright I can see how you'd think that in regards to IC information and Logs so we'll start there. Below are the rules for Optional Realities.

So my logs from over 2 years ago would not fall into that category. They are very old logs and such things are welcome on the OR forums. My log with my tribal with the closing of Tuluk was also 72 hours after the closure of the RPT. The newbie didn't give his entire character backstory and the majority of NPCs are no longer accessible by players. I would (at most) have redacted the newbies sdesc and mdesc if there was a report, which brings us to the next thing.

I am unable to know whether something is pertaining to an "active" plot on my forum. The only 3 posts that were moderated were reported by a user and cited that these were active NPCs in active plots. So we created a spoiler tag for things users thought might be iffy and we edited out the name, sdesc, and mdesc in 2 posts of the 2 NPCs. Meanwhile HavenRPG has a thread for posting logs and snippits on our board. Totally allowed!

I have a history with ARM. I filed staff complaints. I Quit. I then publically shared my opinion. I'd like to think I've tried to be fair with Arm after a little venting. I'm certainly one of the more moderate posters on this board. I can't change who I am for a project I am working on, that would be 2-faced. I can only temper my opinions (which I have, I think) and be mindful of what is inappropriate for a community founder to say on his own website. Also please note that even though Arm isn't involved (in anyway) with OR I am still promoting their game and listing them. Why? Because to have a site focused on text-based RPGs and not listing Arm would be kind of silly.

To get to the end though. If you were the owner of Arm, I would tell you this... OptionalRealities isn't about my personal opinion or my relationship with your game as a player. We want to promote all games that are within the text-based RPG wheel-house which is permadeath, automated systems, and roleplay focus. Your game hits those on the head and you're also one of the oldest and longest running examples of an RPI MUD. If you don't want to post on our forums that is fine it's certainly not a requirement for involvement with the site. All that I ask is that you contribute an article in the same vein as other articles we have from other games.

EDIT - Though to be fair to Armageddon staff, in our interactions with them they have been civil and expressed some interest (we think) but they are understandably busy with their own game.
