shut up about OR this thread is about me, what a good poster i am, and the fact that i was unjustly banned.
also @ rgs: no, i was not meant to be banned. my gdb and game account have the same name. i got gdb banned for being a spectacular poster over a year ago and was just recently banned from the game for no discernable reason other than that some staffer (probably nyr, dude used to take strange pleasure in uncovering my throwaway alts during my 40 year in the desert period) saw i posted here.

I'm not just talking about your post to Delerak. A lot of your posts here are not living up to what staff might expect from communication or even your own rules over on OR. You post IG logs with IC info here while disallowing it on OR, which is odd. You claim to want to deal with staff, yet you are sabotaging your own diplomatic reputation by doing that. This probably extends to anyone who associates with you, like your fellow Project Redshift members, which is unfortunate because they might actually be truly neutral. If I was a game owner, I wouldn't post on OR because I wouldn't feel like I was entering into an objective forum. Your behavior on this forum and OR when examined together comes off as two-faced and self-promoting. It is basically the same reason why we'll never see Armageddon staff post in this forum. Sure OR is not as hostile to Arm as this board can be, but it's still being led by someone whose opinions on the game and its staff have been established by his words and actions. so what? he doesn't want to deal with policing IC info on his boards. what's crazy about that |

I'm giving Jeshin the benefit of the doubt, because, to be honest, I think his approach is kind of like mine. In my mind, if I'm posting in a thread about Armageddon, I'm going to post like a former player of Armageddon, and I'll fit in with the community of players and former players by speaking in a familiar, sociable, sarcastic and humorous way. I'll "blend in", if you will. But if I'm posting about Esos, in the Esos thread, I'll approach it in a more professional and thoughtful way, because I'm representing something larger than myself. I could be wrong, Jeshin might just be trolling everyone here, but I doubt it. |

Sounds like you got the ban you were supposed to get a while ago and they only now connected your account to your moniker. Makes me wonder if they didn't ban some other poor sod's account thinking it was yours, and didn't realize until now. and that poor sods wifes account |

I guess we won't know for sure unless you ask them. Which is kind of absurd. A reason for banning someone should be given out when you ban them. Either way, how is anyone supposed to know why they banned you if you don't ask them? The only reason I'm doubtful you were banned only for posting here, is because I post here, and have not been banned. |
