After writing "Fuck Muds" it's really hard to give any weigth to what @mood says. This forum, and many collective voices like this usually lose great value because of people who simply like damaging everything they don't like. Saying, or even implying something that insults or critizes Nyr by someone who like telling "Fuck Muds", simply diminishes some collective effort of raising a solid voice. It's ugly and a bit sick. I feel sorry for the effort itself, even like in this case I have almost no idea about.
PS. I'll continue because I live within Vandals. Many great uprisings, protests are harmed by a bunch of idiots, who doesn't give a shit about the work. Even millions may rise for a rightful cause, but a small group of idiots may change the face of the movement. History is full of such people. This may be truth, but it's ugly.

Did you just go super serial on a guy who is a self proclaimed "shit poster"?

In reality, Nyr being who he is, it's unlikely that he has trained a replacement. I can't imagine how long it'd take for Nyr to teach someone to do what he does. Then again, if I really wanted a baseline, I could just ask @princehyacinthus how long it took to program Nyrbot. I'd like to think a human replacement would be quicker. He has done a lot of damage to this game that wouldn't just go away when he does. I could say the same thing about a brain tumor. Removing it doesn't undo the damage, but it does put an end to the wasted resources and ever increasing pressure on the healthy parts of the brain.

Would arm be better off without Nessalin Nyr? I guess that depends on who's taking their place. While it's easy to work in the negative ("Nyr is bad, get rid of Nyr!"), the game could really use senior staff members with consistently showcased positive attributes. So... would the game be better off without Nyr? Depends on what our definition of better is. This man is a politician in real life, has to be. That is the most perfectly politically correct answer ever.
