I don't (can't) really have an opinion either way... The discussion in here was enlightening though, for someone like me who's been invisible and far removed from staff troubles for years.
I would like to say that no matter the staff, the thing that scares the most people away from Arm is Arm... Comparatively, any damage Nyr causes is small and statistically insignificant.

I do question the need for a poll though.

The discussion in itself would have been enough, considering everyone pretty much knew the poll results in advance.

In reality, Nyr being who he is, it's unlikely that he has trained a replacement. I could definitely see him deliberately refraining from doing so, in fact. With the likes of Adhira and Nessalin largely absent, I wouldn't be sure that anyone else has the knowledge to take over as lead developer or whatever it is he calls himself.

If the question is "would Arm be better off if Nyr hadn't been there?" the answer is a resounding yes.

If the question is "if Nyr vanishes tomorrow, will Arm immediately improve?" I'm not so sure.

He has done a lot of damage to this game that wouldn't just go away when he does.
