I remember Sargax Kurac. He helped my Kuraci brat more than once after Ihsahn started taking an unhealthy "interest" in him and his shenanigans with Taeri. Great character. The same question has been raised here before on the board; what can you do so if the staff never supports your plots? I keep asking myself and going in circles. No point in accumulating coin. No real point in exploring. No point in striving for rank given a glass ceiling. No chance of discovering some unexpected treasure in an unknown ruin (i.e. adventure). No point in trying to build an invincible character to challenge the world, even sorcerers are gone now. What's left? Just plotting to mess with other PCs. Over and over. I guess that's fine for some people, but not for everyone. That is literally my conclusion: you can grief other PCs but that's thin gruel for me. So now I no longer play Armageddon.

Oh and compare you to old characters who didn't have to deal with the current bullshit.

A gemmer is a lot more dangerous than a ranger. Lets posit that this is true: gemmers are a lot more dangerous than rangers. Does that justify the OOC squelching of the Red Hunt bounty? I'm genuinely curious.

It seemed to be a common refrain!

That sounds more like a meta gaming player than something exclusive to the very narrow range of half-giants from the south.

A gemmer is a lot more dangerous than a ranger. A gemmer /can be/ a lot more dangerous than a ranger. There, fixed that for you.
Gemmed are like a guy with a gun holding between 1 and 3 bullets. With reloads taking forever. Once he's used his bullets, he's toast.

As long as there is god-kings, black-robes, gemmers, mind-reading ninjas, and so on to enforce the Staff's narrow vision, they can keep squashing ideas. I know there are a lot of magick nut-huggers around but I don't see why you couldn't have more fun if magick was more of a sub-guild in all cases and highly toned down. Bring the conflict to a real low player to player level that is meaningful to players, without always having to answer to those above.

A gemmer is a lot more dangerous than a ranger. This is no where near close to being true.

If you dont want Tuluki PCs getting killed... why promote a fucking war? Its stupid to squash an attempt at north vs south conflict. Dealing with half-giants can be hard, but not impossible. Ive had a few pcs interact with your characters ranger... they were always a believable character, and I quite liked our experiences.
Im close to fading myself for a while...maybe a long time. At least I can go back to my own project again.
