I welcome this change which will add more grit to Tuluk and more PVP to those wilds. Now all they have to do is open gith tribes right outside Allanak and we can begin the era of small scale raiding RP.

Yes, the gdb is full of people who go into full suckup mode everytime staff do something. Big whoop. Am I supposed to turn into an internet hipster and bitch about everything people are happy with because it's too mainstream?
It was a good decision. Would I rather see a celf tribe or a tribe with a wider area it can go? Sure. But even so, it's a good move. Quit your whining over a positive change to the game.

When is Tor opening, again? You can be an Academy student there or an aide, yup. ATV: I liked the clan but it could be a bit boring at times. It's cool hippie rp though. |

Consider my ignorant but I Feel like the logic is as follows.
There aren't enough C-elfs/C-elf options.
There are too many indies twinking in the grass lands.
Our solution?
Create another D-elf clan centered around twinking in the grass lands.
--Arm Staff Logic.
I could be totally wrong, but its how I envision this going down. To reduce grass lands twinking, they're just going to make another pk happy raiding d-elf clan to twink in the grass lands to make sure any indies hunters are either killed or scared off.
10 out of 10 role play.

For the reason highlghted in your second sentence there. what in the fuck is wrong with the staff? They go out of their way to make more work for themselves to refus to do because they have too much work. And now theyre neglecting the ever-growing bureaucratic backlog to make video ads on youtube. for a clan theyre reopening to (most likely) kill all those pesky indy hunter pcs with. |

I seriously doubt that one n00b storyteller guy staffing d-elf clans has the same sort of backlog bureaucratic stuff to go through as an admin does. It's like when people bitch about a game patch where they complain that the graphic department spent their polishing some art in the game rather than fixing the code bugs that should be fixed first. We all know that storytellers are like one step above us mere mortals in what they are allowed to do/get access to.. |

Nothing is stopping storytellers from doing small plots that won't shape the world but will get players involved.
Case in point: Rahmi running a plot where Kurac had a traitor steal 10k sid, a few bricks of spice and abscond. My task was to track down, apprehend and return said traitor (this involved multiple players and several of the Fist, so it was almost entirely a clan-centric plot).
This wasn't the only plot he did that focused solely on Kurac.
This particular plot however involved murder, corruption, and betrayal, and I loved every minute of it.
The game needs more of that, and if you disagree, it's just because you're a black female lawyer television personality.

Nah, I actually agree with you that there's definitely more need for fun plots, but I feel like storytellers are trapped with a lot of bureaucratic BS that they need to go through for every single steps they want to take that at some point they just tend to give up and do stuff like that video or small animations that they don't need the approval stamp of two admins to go ahead with. It's not the guy who took the time to make that video instead of whatevs that should be blamed, it's the way that Armageddon's bureaucracy is being run.
