Yep, that sucked. If only staff cooperated a lil' more; How long ago was this again?
Ok, so before, you wanted staff to work with you, to make a change to the world. They didn't. Now, they did. And boohoo, it's still not good enough. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
This is to my understanding a player driven storyline, staff worked WITH that, instead of against it. And are you even aware that this is probably different staff than those many years ago?

This was a player-initiated plot that became staff moderated and directed prior to the Baker incident.
From the looks of things, the Guild decided to make waves with the the new Templar and he took them to school, killing a number of them in just a few days. I'm unsure how Red Storm ties into things, but the two major players there are involved on both sides of the goings on. It seems to have died in the cradle with the barricades going up, though.

out of curiosity, I would like to hear about this but I respect that the plot could be ongoing and I would not want some people getting screwed for the information, so.... could somebody just send me a PM about this? As I said, it is out of curiosity, since I have not touched arm for several years and do not intend to play
