The kryl aren't new, so much as incredibly under utilized. From what I remember, they were supposed to be used as part of a set piece for a Tuluk plot that never happened and have since been placed in obscure spots around the forest, like the tunnel leading to the sunken temple.

I've never made it past them to see if they're in the temple proper or not, though I would assume so. We wouldn't want people exploring cool places, would we?

The gourds are a new thing and completely unrelated to the old mount poisons, which no longer work. As far as I know, it's only used when staff arrange gith encounters and isn't a normal part of the game.

Okay you've given enough information about the kryl that I'm not sure if you're failing to give a description because you're worried about getting caught or what. But if you're supposing it's a staff use only kryl then the staff can just go whose been at events with that kryl and locate you that way. Can you describe the kryl providing its sdesc or a rough description?
