They may just leave it up. I actually like Lizzie, and I get what she's saying, but if you take it in a polarized manner, well, you miss the issue that Manipura also has a problem with. Some people think their idea is sooooo good, but really it's just, not needed. It's like, the trophy generation, where you get a prize for showing up. Lizzie is a bit extreme at times, and not always diplomatic or considerate with her approach, which has lead to a communication divide. I like RGS too, and I get where he's coming from, but what I perceive is a breakdown in communications, and that's where shit gets questionable. I, personally, hope they leave it up, because, why does it have to be all sunshine and rainbows? Some passionate fury from the community must be on display.

It shows how much people care about the game, both in its past and current form, which, really, says a lot. Let the vets duke it out, no need to dial it up to eleven. Runner Dipshit just pissed in my stew! Well, knock him out on Cingel and dump him in a latrine trough. Shit's rough, gritty, and even in RL, you can only expect so much coddling and hand-holding.

I hate this thread and everything it stands for. It's so bass-ackwards to what I think is good game design I would think it was a troll had it come from anyone other than Lizzie. I can honestly say that I think posts like this and the people who express these opinions are the worst thing about the Armageddon community. You're the reason why the game has been so slow to change and adapt, and why the staff tend to walk on eggshells when it comes to adding new things. You crush excitement. You scoff at progress. The less we cater to your, frankly ignorant (lack of)ideas, the better. I would rather have the heaping shit-pile of vastly negative and ridiculous posts on the Jcarter forum over whatever version of the GDB and game Lizzie and a few others here would have. from roguegunslinger in the "So many ideas..." thread looooool in a comfortable spot between completely disagreeing with this whiny little bitch and totally backing him throwing shit at lizzie and pointing out how it takes one of the few oldies staff hasnt permabanned yet to get away with saying the shit that she did he fucked up by ignoring the fact that her msg may resonate with the ppl in charge since theyre the ones responsible for whatever pos/neg feedback they get, esp when the longterm vet the staff doesnt hate is speaking in their corner |

I'm mad at staff, too, let's not go overboard on hostility, I am drunk, stoned, and I may have burned one of my eyelids (on accident, whoops!), but staff are doing their best in the last quarter, may as well root for the underdog here, feels SO much better when they win.

I think the thing we can learn here is that in Armageddon, you really just shouldn't give any sponsored roles any impetus or opportunity to interact with you. Else, things like this happen.
