Thanks for the insult, king, but I just researched it to be sure, so I didn't have to spout off half-remembered facts from school.

the amount the Indians were killing were laughably small compared to what the white settlers did during our bloody expansion age

I guess I'm supposed to just take your word for it, but pretty much every source I am reading emphasizes both the white man's deliberate and malicious effort to exterminate the buffalo and the Native Americans' overhunting, which was exacerbated by the use of horses, as factors.

i can't say i really give a shit if you want to take my word for it or not, but i'll go ahead and read the articles because I'd like to have a fresh opinion on these things when sexing buffalo enthusiasts.

All I wanna say, is you all are being VERY offensive by not calling them Native Americans. You classless, godless, educationless heathens, you.

Hah Pro I know you're joking but in fact some tribes do prefer to be called Indians, i.e. the Blackfoot. Though it's probably kind of a "you made this bed, white people, now you have to lie in it" sort of thing.

Never change, Prince. Never change. With your random facts. And using 'but in fact' without sounding particularly snooty. And where is the Bitter? I miss his jadedness at times.

oh man I did not even know I said in fact I have Blackfoot ancestors, myself, not too distant, but I don't call myself Blackfoot in any sense. It wasn't at all part of my upbringing. Plus they have pretty stringent requirements about who can be considered a part of the tribe. How do you use 'first nations' as an adjective? That is one point in the 'Indian' column.
