If I'd had faith for the past year and still ain't got any results, there's that. It's inappropriate to tell people to have hope for the future when the past has been mostly hopeless.

Meanwhile there is so much untapped potential that continues to rot instead. Npc tuluk could be kept alive through animations and RPTs, true giants just sit in red storm east doing who knows what, borsail was supposed to return with a new estate, the tan muark exist but don't exist, and plenty more.

But who needs storylines and political turmoil when you can have spiders? The backdrop used to be so much more mature than it is now.

I was pretty neutral on Eury, even though I knew he was a snarky asshole. He was at least someone who even though he thought he was being funny, went back and owned up to an error and apologized for it. However, he's clearly been breathing in too much of the staff's own fumes.

There's no one, who isn't entirely delusional, who at this point, in 2015, should honestly expect anyone to have a reservoir of faith in Armageddon's staff culture. I'm not saying he's a bad guy, but this 'Chillax, have a brew-dog' is stupid shit that is only worthy of calming the most ardent GDBites. For anyone that's even remotely on the fence about the direction of Armageddon (and that's the majority of Armageddon's playerbase), this statement should serve as a big giant red flag. Just like his idiotic statement about them being unpaid volunteers in the player retention thread.

Eury has to recognize that he's not coming in at the top with a bunch've goodwill. He's starting from the bottom. This can't be turned around and blamed on the playerbase, like say, Lizzie. It has to be accepted that Armageddon's staff has so little goodwill because of past mismanagement by Armageddon's staff.

Although, it always amuses me when staffers like Eury or Nergal refer to the 'bad old days', when the game had the same producers then, as they do now (Nyr, Adhira, and Nessalin). And no, I'm not even going to waste typing the name of the guy who replaced Nyr, because just like the guy who briefly replaced Nessalin, he'll probably be gone when Nyr returns after the holidays.

Just a reminder: this is a thread for posting positive examples of players on the GDB proving they're not all brainwashed vegetables and whipped dogs. It's not an ironic name.
