seriously though here's what's probably going to happen-
Nyr initiates more heavy-handed changes (TEKTOLNES STEPS DOWN FROM THRONE AND DECREES THIS IS HOW THINGS ARE DONE NOW) for the sake of change.
Red Storm continues to get ignored
Some half-assed attempt at recreating Fale that ends miserably because the pbase can't wrap its head around what a socialite is and does.

I am interested to see where this goes tbh. If Nyr puts as much effort into Nak as he did into Tuluk we could see some interesting stuff. Hope he doesn't fuck it up though.

Overall, I think it went well, I noticed a few of the same names that frequent here in there, and asking the right questions. All the answers I had to my questions were answered well enough for me. The BEST news I got, was in implementation of the new subguilds, the Sorc ones, ARE being used currently, though not open to the public quite yet. So Adhira said they should be ready for everyone in a couple months, I've been waiting for a couple years for. Someone I can't remember who, asked about magickers and the magick subclasses, and they got sidestepped something about hasn't been talked about yet but it would be looked into I believe.
And then someone else asked if anyone who was banned, since the amnesty they should send a request to Adhira to talk about it and see about getting let back in. I'm not sure how many of you fall into that category though or if you'd be interested in doing so.

Tuluk has become completely barren and unpalatable. Luirs is full of Kurac and by extension immensely boring PCs who lack the courtesy to retire.
Now, Allanak is being served up for the Nyr treatment.
The good news is that the two people always sitting in Red Storm will finally have some company.

^ Seriously, the game has been so bland the last couple of years. In the last year I haven't seen ANY shred of player initiative. There are still good players and characters out there, but you don't see indies trying to create their own clans, or anything of that sort these days. Half the clanned players are sitting in the Byn (I've heard it said IG that they're flat out not recruiting Runners, which I've never seen before), and the ones that aren't are sitting in their respective clans doing jack shit. I've seen like 2 desert elves in that time, and no raiders / conflicts / indies / whatever. It's just a big meh sandwich. |
