If this goes through and they let Nyr be nyr on Nak, theres a good chance they'll wind up closing RSV. Or having nak conquer it.
because people tend to prefer playing in the south or the north, you can expect rsv to get a population boost. RSV's selling point has always been that it's the only place you can rp without getting harassed by bored people in sponsored roles. it's also close enough to a major city that the poor variety (and expensive water) isnt as much of a big deal. Yeah, it won't be convenient. But if youve been driven out of Nak by Nyr's stupidty, it'll still seem like a better deal.
Up until they ruin RSV in a sad attempt to save nak. I'd give it 3 months after nyr starts making major changes before RSV starts drawing his ire.

wtb a sand lord plot where he goes full atreides and just starts rollin over err'body. he and his army of badass mul glads start getting a little pushy, maybe they're all like "yo nak stop treating us like shit all the time thanks breh" - then nak is like "naw fuc dat bro ur a punk bitch toplul". then its on like dk - it becomes a war of liberation, slaves defect to the SL. then they start taking territories, pushing into nakki demesnes...and finally, a confrontation with nak is reached. nak gets raped without consent, shit was so unkosher... luirs is next. GMH's quickly side with The Lord. All thats left of the old order of nak is a few Arm stragglers, and they try to team up with tuluk but tuluk went full backstab on them and one shotted them with a lazerbeam or something. luirs falls with ease, the delves are like meh, all thats left is tuluk. they attempt to parlay with my nigga sandie, and then he's like "bitches dont be knowin bout muh lifetrees" and muls over the golden pyramid or whatever the fuck it is i dont play in tuluk and he wins the game. oh and nyr kills himself the end

And I dont know if I was clear originally but I didn't mean everyone in Nak would go RSV. just the southlands players. i figure some of the northies will repatriate Tuluk. Some might discover rsv though. One of the things I will give arm is that the civilizations play very differently from each other. Or at least they used to.

What was great about DS that Arm never learned to do.. open more city-states. A sorcerer can easily rule people, slaves, create a city at will with their magick and go from there. The problem is Arms staff never went with that. There should be more than 2 city-states but no they'd rather just keep screwing around with what they've had for 20 years instead of growing the mud and keeping it ever changing like adding areas, and new sorcerer-kings.
