Introduction Thread (Optional)

While we're here.
Year-old player here or thereabouts, mostly stopped playing due to boredom. I don't feel like there's anything really going on in the game to warrant playing it for hours at a time, but being a fairly long-term lurker of this forum I decided to pick it up again. For me, I am mostly here to talk about the game without fear of being silenced, which if there is anything to say about Arm, that is a common theme and one I've experienced first hand.

If you want to metagame with me drop a hemote in the gaj of you kissing your fingers italian-style, that's how I'll know how to identify you and we'll go from there!

Hi.

I started playing in 2007. As a player I'm probably known for being a helper for several years and playing Chosen Lord Raleris Winrothol.

Then I joined staff. Everyone who's been around the game for a few years knows about how I left.

Why am I here? The short answer is that while my experience on Armageddon is long past me, what I did there still troubled me on occasion. The combination of that experience and the lingering aftereffects of PTSD from other, IRL sources in my life made things hard to deal with for a while. Then I saw ShaLeah's post on Reddit. I clearly harmed many people and/or their experiences with Armageddon or was at least complicit in that harm. But I feel I also helped perpetuate a cycle of cruelty which continues now, and I'm sorry for that.

So I'm not here to make excuses for what I did, but I am here to apologize. As soon as I have some time to catch up on the past few weeks of posts, I will also do my best to provide some context on my experience and observations and try to counter some of the more disturbing lies posted on here.
