I can't code my way out of a paper bag, but world building, I can do, and at an almost obscene rate. Especially if the people who do choose to pick up coding (should the idea come into fruition) take a cue from the staff building commands in coffeemud, which are much more intuitive than the ones for dikumuds, certainly. Yeah. I remember when I built at Atonement and we were all supposed to do a specific section of Grungetown, changing its description before the event where it was razed. I had mine done within days while everyone else was poking around, being slow and gossiping rather than working. ain't nobody got time for dat shit

If you guys do take the github route, please thoroughly document things. The codebase that was given out at the end of ARPI doesn't even comments.

Were they programming Arm 2 in Java? if so, they'd have been almost halfway done by now.
All this talk just makes me think of coding. Arm and this board really highlight how not to run a mud. Arm through mistakes, this board through discussion.

Well isn't some staff working on a new engine/code base? The day this comes out is the day I fly over to Nyr's house and fondle his genitals. Trust me, there will be pics this time, unlike with Samala.

I wish the GDB had a feature that automatically posted "Get the fuck out" after posts like this: Zalanthan gravity is different, and Zalanthan bones are denser, as are Zalanthan muscles. On the planet Earth, these heights/weights would certainly be incongruent with the notion of emaciation/obesity but in the world of Zalanthas, they're spot-on exactly how they should be.

it's kind funny they try that. I mean its a land of giant bugs and magic.
Also the gravity wouldn't be denser, or no one would be denser, the gravity would be less in theory.
Cause there is a reason we don't have giant bugs on planet earth.
All those legs take energy, and no animal could have more then four and be much bigger then maybe, the average human hand.
So basically Lizzie is so wrong, and I haven't sat in a biology class in 15+ years.
Why can't they just go "It's Fantasy" and just leave it at that? Makes no damn sense, the game ain't realistic, and that's ok.
I think so of these folks need to live in the real world for a week are so before logging on again, at this rate it just be healthy.

Aww, it didn't embed right. Just makes me think, though, of the south park fish sticks episode and what Kyle finally says to Cartman in the bathroom: " That's how people like you work! Your ego is so out of whack that it will do whatever it can to protect itself. And people with a messed up ego can do these mental gymnastics to convince themselves they're awesome, when really, they're just douchebags!" www.southparkstudios.com/clips/224095/and-hes-not-fat-at-all
