The biggest disappointment I found in the game was that the ability to learn skills through teach/use was taken out. The second biggest disappointment was that someone had been able to fully branch an elementalist pc in 2 days so the code was retooled in such a way that rl days played into trying to RP things out and not spam, after sending in a request about it, I was more or less told I wasn't casting enough. Not even enough to levitate herself 4-5 days played into the game. That's just unsustainable and/or a way to actually encourage people who enjoy or don't mind spamming while driving people away who don't enjoy it.

That's why things are down right now. We needed beta testers before, but are done now. From here on we will work with the player port down and during that time people won't be having a sub-par experience and become disappointed and unhappy with the game as we prepare for a more finished version launch.

To clarify: I stopped playing and decided not to game back for reasons related to the way the setting itself appealed to me. It's a great game, it's just not set in a world/doesn't have a genre that really appeals to me. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a setting with swords and magic and all that, when it comes back, all the same.

I really have a lot of appreciation for the game and can't wait to play it again. I hope I get to keep the pc I had. It was interesting to play. I figured you might want a bit of feedback on why I stopped playing during the downtime. Things that were especially awesome though: All the animations, the interesting take on sexism as witnessed between archons, the fact that you can at least try to learn to read, but it's not too easy so it feels like it's a big deal, but a big deal that's attainable with the right amount of work. |

Yup, I'd come back to it too. Hopefully this next phase it'll have a better working economy and more stuff to buy. I really enjoyed that the north end was kind of easy mode and the south end was "OMG! WTFBBQ!" Had fun the little bit of time I played.
