On that note, I will NOT be responding again, as I literally have nothing else to say. Thank you to everyone who has shown me overwhelming support and more so, to all of those who have actually come to me privately, respecting the family of those involved in the situation, as I do, instead of trying to bait me to speak about it openly, which I stated from the start, I would not do.

And this would be the second time you've done this sort of thing with indifference to there being other cultures with different practices and sensibilities. Not everyone is from America. And this kind of mentality of demanding that other cultures change to accommodate yours is offensive to the sensibilities of much of the world. There's a good reason why it's offensive. |

IDK - everyone is being weird and excluding information (including this person's handle or name) but that's the claim. If it's true it's some genuinely disturbing shit to happen this year around this specific gaming community in addition to all of the other sexually predatory issues surrounding the game that came to light. |

"Lack of evidence of a suicide" isn't "evidence of no suicide", so we will never know for sure what happened beyond the claims being made by people that are currently alive, anonymous, and using a variety of excuses as to why they can't elaborate further. The fact that Katima was not imprisoned for murdering someone strongly suggests that she didn't drive someone to commit suicide though, regardless of what anyone else claims happened. If someone truly committed suicide over Armageddon, it would be the biggest known tragedy this community has seen. It would also behoove those that know more information to take the relevant information to authorities that can help prevent something like this from happening again (e.g. by ordering Armageddon to provide data, or to close, etc.). The fact that none of this happened shows deep negligence on the part of the people that claim to know the most details about what they claim happened. This, of course, assumes that such details exist, which would assume that a suicide occurred and can accurately be connected to the actions of Armageddon staff members - beyond dramatic speculation.
That would mean the Producers providing what they know to legal authorities, and Kiyet doing the same, instead of the "neener neener, I know something you don't know, but I have to protect the family/protect the staff members". Respectfully - stop fucking around and do something real with the information you have. Or continue to do nothing, and we will assume you have no information.
If information was already provided to authorities, it wouldn't have been gossipped about here, because it would be part of an active investigation, and gossip here would harm that investigation. So we can assume that so far, nobody has done anything IRL with any information, or they have but they are so stupid and/or willing to harm such an investigation that they decided to stir up internet drama just for fun.
I urge people here to read what was posted here, read what was posted in Usiku's staff announcement, and think things through to their logical conclusions. Think about what you are seeing and what you are not seeing. |

Maybe I'm being obtuse.
I don't know a whole lot about Katima but I'm assuming she's around my age, 30-40, and is at least a marginally functional member of society. Probably pretty basic by a lot of standards.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with turning make believe romance into a real life romance and trying to make something out of it.
Insinuating that she caused someone to commit suicide because it didn't work out and saying "staff abuse" is fucking insane and irresponsible.
I'm with the idea of showing some proof.
Maybe they suicided their bard and not themselves?

Kiyet has nine posts here, and four of them were written to say "this will be my last post here, I have nothing more to say".
Proof isn't coming. One possibility is that Kiyet is being enigmatic because proof doesn't exist, because she doesn't have any, because she's a liar, or she has been lied to convincingly enough to pass the lie to us without doing any verification of the information she received.
The right thing to do would be for Kiyet to shut the fuck up instead of coming here to post her last post for the fifth time, and take all information tying Katima's actions to the death of an actual human being over to a detective at her local police department. If she can't do that then just shutting the fuck up is acceptable.

Even if there's the slightest doubt about such an incident occurring, it would be prudent for anyone who knows or suspects something to report it to the authorities. Otherwise, it might weigh heavily on their conscience. While Katima may get offended, I am willing to risk offending her if it means uncovering the truth about such an incident, even if it's just a possibility.

This is getting way out of hand, and shame on kiyet for letting it get this far, and throwing this accusation out in the first place. I have refrained from posting, trust me there is a lot I would like to say, but this needs to be said. The suicide happened in 2018, over 5 years ago. Pretty sure if said family thought foul play had anything to do in this death then those being accused would have been out of the picture a long time ago. Don't you think? I will leave it at that for now. |
