Experiences on staff

I accept your apology. But I honestly believe you made the game worse for that. I think you coming here to admit your past faults is a good thing to do and I hope it has helped you move on. But I don't think airing other people's dirty laundry is actually of any benefit for the game. If you're doing it out of some belief that you are helping the game. If you're doing it because you feel like it, then go nuts. That is one of the purposes of this forum after all.

With all that said, I am sorry that you snapped and were not in a good place mentally. I genuinely mean that. As someone who has depression, I know how bad things can get and I have nothing but sympathy for anyone who is depressed or has experienced being depressed. I am genuinely happy to hear that you're doing better.

But given the dirty laundry that has been aired, I do have a question for Nergal that I would appreciate him answering. A bit of backstory to reduce any speculation: For a short while I was a staff member in Armageddon. I never did anything of consequence. None of you will remember me. A lot of people currently playing the game wouldn't have even been around when I was a staff member. I was the same as a staff member as I have been as a player: truly inconsequential with never having achieved anything in my time playing the game (other than entertaining myself).

When I was on staff, which was before Nergal's time, there was a staff contract that we were all meant to follow and I am 100% convinced that one of the items on that contract prohibited you from watching players engage in mudsex. Was that still the case when you were on staff and was it ever actually enforced?

I'm guessing the answer is no to either one, or both, questions. But I did want to ask.

The banning "Necker" thing was ridiculous. The IRL trauma of racial slang sucks but using a non-human racial slang that evokes emotional responses IG, IC is a great tool of immersion in a scene. Stupid PC cops.

if there are any things staff can do to try and placate a dwindling pbase that or any other attempt to soften or cushion the theme to make it more palatable to ppl too immature or lazy to separate ooc and ic should be the utter last of them

I don't normally follow the channel. It's filled with staff posting pictures of baby animals or Shalooonsh strutting around like he's the biggest turd in the bowl and can't be flushed. Mixed in with a bunch of cunts giving each other high fives and stroking staff egos with constant praises for their voluntarism, like staff is standing there with a bowl of karma points ready to pin some on the biggest cocksucker.

Someone told me, "Hey, this guy just quit publicly. Go look at the Discord." I said, "Gimme the link, bro." And he didn't so I had to fucking Google it, and then I signed in, had to wait like 20 fucking minutes before it would let me post anything, and then I flat out asked Brokker about staff policies regarding PC alts.

And he answered. It led to a question someone else had about staff accountability and the Gang of Three producers chimed in with "fuck accountability, we don't answer to you losers. Here's a picture of a baby alpaca. Now suck it."
