“But...but... ibusoe!! What you don’t understand is you’re comparing earth slavery with zalanthan slavery. They’re totally different things. For one Zalanthas is a high-g world that alone means you can’t compare the two. It makes all of your earthen ideas of slavery moot.”

Stop bragging about all of the work that you guys make for yourself. These may be the truest words ever spoken on this forum.

On the topic of playing a slave: Gladiators can be pretty fun if you're a low-playtimes player and wanted some interaction. (Low meaning 2-6 hours a week.) It depends on the population of the city. There's times when you have 0 interesting fans and other times when you have a ton of interesting people to RP with. You get a lot more "freedom" as a gladiator than you do your usual House slave, so... it's not as bad for interaction. Your schedule is generally: Spar a couple times a RL night if your trainer is on. The rest of the time either heeding calls from the master or being social out in town.

Please don't staff a game again. Hey Man, I want to take back the last part. I meant everything else that I said but I think you're more than average patient and should staff again when you're ready. I went to far.

Hey. I read all of that and I'll respond in my usual style. Just a little later, I've been real busy the last few days.

The usual Qwerty style including staff apologizing, moving the goal posts, straw men, and asking for more evidence of other peoples positions.

While everything you said is actually true. And kind of almost exactly what I myself have indicated by stating "Hey. I read all of that and I'll respond in my usual style." Something I'm certain "everyone" who read my previous posts have understood without clarification.
I would caution you from making a post like yours. It's up to you, sure. But in an intelligent, self respecting society what you posted is bad mannered. In my opinion. I mean, before someone even spoke, you've began degrading their points and arguments, by going straight for the personality. You're imposing a message that nothing I will say has merit, no matter what is it I say. And while it's your choice, it kind of shows the futility of having a reasonable discourse with you. Don't you think?

I am pretty amazed.
I hate judging people (at least over internet) but, please consider this a friendly word: anyone who spends this much effort on this game should really consider some other hobby. Life may be full of valuable goals then reach high numbers on a text-based RPI game.
There are of course levels of cheating on everything. For this game, about learning how a code works can be considered as cheating or effective way of training one in some guidelines, I dont know. I may be cheating in that sense. it depends on IMMs.
By the way, about morals.. Life is not all really shades of grey. There are whites and blacks ie. rights and wrongs. "but why do you cheat, it kills the fun" may not be true, but depending how you use it, it may make someone indecent, evil, immoral, inmature..
