Having A Girl's number is not an achievement. I don't tell everyone, hey, I heard her voice and it's sexy as fuck. I keep it like the closely guarded secret it would have been had she not outed me. Also, emote hugs A Girl. I'm bad at conversation though, so, it's just saved in phone memory. There's no goddamn scoreboard when you get down to the root of the matter, all there is, is that last thought you have, how many people actually give a fuck this is happening?

I think, in some ways, staff is slowly redeeming itself. My interactions so far, have been very diplomatic. You know what? This is my sensibility as well, hearing the interactions of others through the shadow-clique. I feel like the majority of the shitlords in staff have left (Nessalin excluded), and the ones who are remaining might... actually care about the game, rather than treating it like a clubhouse to hang around with their staff-friends? Call me cautiously optimistic. The level of nepotism that went on with Nyr appears to be behind us; whereas he was clearly taking on like-minded toadies to further the terrible state of the MUD, the new staffers must've had that sentiment beaten out of them. I find the best professional relationships happen when nobody's an IRL "friend". Saying that, I'm just waiting for my staff invitational letter.  I heard you guys need coders, call me. |
