I would like to read more on Rath. Anyone know of any negative experiences? Anyone want to share additional positive ones?
I can't recall ever seeing one negative experience on the board, which is 40% of the reason for my optimism about Producer-King(?) Rath. The other 60% is his(?) approach to Tuluk and all the positive feedback posted here from people who have no reason to lie.

Rath was my staffer on a couple occasions, most notably when we were doing our little kryl war RPTs, and his animations were excellent. I'd say they played a large part in holding my interest to this game, actually, as it had never truly gotten its claws into me up until that point. Outside of Arm, I've played a few RPGs with him, and can attest that he has a highly creative mind. He will do well as a Producer, in my opinion.

I just read through all my requests that were answered by rathustra. On the whole, very positive and upbeat, very encouraging. When providing criticism, very constructive, the language didn't, in the slightest, seem demanding, but very reasonable and matter of fact... something you wouldn't be able to argue with or twist into some shit-mountain even if your name was Sirra.

Fuck Rath and his considerate approach. What we need is someone with conviction and a take-no-shit, give-zero-fucks attitude who gets things fucking done, even if it's driving away the playerbase and giving the shadowboards something to bitch about, rather than opening up new options and driving up interest in a previously boring, stale part of the game.
EDIT: Oh, and to top it all off, instead of just snagging the credit, or saying it was a team effort without naming names, he outs the motherfucker who kickstarted the whole conspiracy to have the gith murder our PCs in an immersive fashion. Positively dreadful, such humble shenanigans can only lead to disasterous results.

Rath is actually Nyr. And they're all actually Nessalin. Nessalin is psychotic, everyone knows that. Notice how now that Nyr's gone Nessalin and Rath both come out staffing and coding like crazy. That's because they've subdued Nyr with heavy medication. So now they're in manic mode, and Rath and Ness are the two manic sides of the psycho. Rath is the nice alter ego, and Ness is the asshole alter-ego. Just wait til they start to burn out - you'll see Nyr back and the other tossed into the back til their shrink gives them a new prescription.

I have butted heads with staffers, and Nyr hated me. HATED. I've even thrown some spite Rath's way. But he has, mostly, been good to me. I used to play a lot in tuluk, so I've had years of player-imm experience with him. For the most part, he's an alright guy. But time will tell, right?
