How long ago was that, julio? Still banned and not welcome? That was this month. That was a copy and paste from my cell phone. (Even my cell phone IP is banned!) As for my emails and stuff I'd like to remain somewhat anonymous. Okay, had you been posting here before you got in trouble, and also, although I remember maybe reading it, what was your /initial/ disagreement with Nyr about? |

Karma. Or lack there of. Apparently I had a different account as a kid than I do now as a grown married man pushing 30 years old. I said staff neglected my 10+ years of playing.
I had a "past" of complaining about the staff as a kid, so he used that as grounds to assume everything I say and do is to complain about the staff.
A kudos to another staff member was criticized in an email directly to me explaining how my bad behavior with staff is not getting better. (I said, Thanks for going above and beyond, I thought staff would have been lazy with this, but you gave me plenty of information." Something like that.)
I made a special app that he deleted because I made a comment about how it is not staff's fault, but my own for not having enough karma for a rukkian after 10 years. I apologized that they had to go through the trouble of approving it because I didn't do a good enough job at letting staff know I exist.
He spun it around somehow with me being the bad guy, deleted the request, then sent me a nasty email.
I decide to quit Arm and make a 'goodbye' post on the GDB to some people I've played with in the form of "Memories while Arming". The content was a heart warming handful of life events that happened while playing armageddon: Middle school, undergrad, first girlfriend (not in that order) etc... I politely and briefly explained I was leaving due to staff favoritism and bullying.
30 seconds later ZAP the post. 30 seconds after that Zap the GDB handle. Now everything is zapped.
Not even a courtesy email. Funny, right?

The last four posts you've made, have been this. Word for word. Just pointing it out. You've got a really obnoxious habit of playing board police. Just pointing it out. I just don't like people shitting things up for the sake of it. Repeating "fuck nyr" over and over again is doing just that, and you calling people cocksuckers is doing the exact same thing. |

I was banned for a few days from the GDB only when I got into this fight with Nyr a few months ago (Can't really remember what it was about, I think it was about the shadow artists..) Then I got banned for a week from the GDB when I called him an asshole when kronibas got banned. I never lost any karma over both incidents and I was only banned from the GDB.
This is why I'm always skeptical of people's stories unless I can get better context or both sides (which rarely happens, unfortunately).
The only reason I patched things up with Staff is because I felt retarded calling someone an asshole on a public forum no matter what the reason I had to do so. I'm an adult (believe it or not) and I don't feel like that kind of behavior is proper anywhere and definitely not over a game, I was raised much better than that.

Malken is not a staffer account, I can verify that as I know him and have played with him in the past. He just honestly has a different opinion than the rest of us.

Malken is not a staffer account - he just suffers from Stockholm Syndrome and at times feels the need to atone for his sins against Nyr by acting as a crusader against the shadowboards, resulting in some rather ridiculous stances at times due to lack of objectivity.
it's extremely sad and at times pathetic but ultimately excusable.

Basically the staff has my personal information. A Google search also links back me to my personal username info to the GDB. I live a somewhat public life, I cannot afford the bad publicity of getting linked to a game with murder, f-mes, and betrayal.
They won't delete this personal information either. Nyr has taken it from a video game to a personal liability!!! So is it bad manners to bad mouth someone like Nyr? Heck no! Fuck Nyr.

There is something to be said about stacking your deck, and often times this - as opposed to genuine merit - is what I feel drives recruitment in ArmageddonMUD. You deserve to be on staff, Malken. You are smart enough, sycophantic enough, and have demonstrated that you are willing to throw principles under the bus in the name of self-preservation. I think you would fit in just fine. |

Well, it doesn't really make a fuck how good of a story you can actually tell... Just be sure that you can agree with people and log in enough to not be totally negligent.
The staff of ArmageddonMUD have made it clear that the content of the story comes in second to retaining authority and power.

Times I have been invited to staff ArmageddonMUD: 1
Times I have asked to staff ArmageddonMUD: 0. With the exception of once when I told Morgenes that I would be happy to approve apps if it did not involve actually being in the game as an admin. I never wanted the spoilers; I always thought it would ruin my perspective of the game.
If you really enjoy ArmageddonMUD and have played it long enough, then you realize that you can make far more of a difference as a player than a staff member.

I thought you were hoping that they would come here and hold some sort of decent conversation with you and some other players, but if you keep referring to them the way you are referring to me, I can see why they wouldn't want to hold a dialogue with you. Nessalin is gone and many here have told you that Nyr is actually much better at handling player relations, so what do you have to lose with attempting to enter a dialogue with them? The worst answer you may get is "Get lost", which you can then come and post here, or you may be able to come to some sort of civilized understanding (which I guess you're calling it selling out or being an ass kisser) and move on with your life and play Armageddon again (if that is your wish?). If not, then I'm not really sure what you're going for.. Mind you, you don't really need a reason to be here, I'm just curious as to what yours might be. |
