He and Calavera were -- simply put -- fantastic players. It genuinely saddens me they won't be around to bring the sands and alleys to life.

I like to try to stay positive. It's really easy to simply assume things will just fall to pieces, or that everything will stagnate further. But that sort of negativity really isn't going to help it get any better either. Quite a few people on these boards still play, and many of the people here still bitch and moan about the game a long time after they've quit. It's easy to be a critic. Maybe, just maybe, some of these people added to staff will help the game advance in a way that many players can come back to, to enjoy. On the other hand, it could go right off the rails and drive further people away. I personally hope for the first of the two. As much as many people wanna spite the staff and hope it all goes down in flames, there are those who find their own flavors of enjoyment in what's seen. Good luck, new storytellers/admins/etc. You're gonna need it. Hope to see you animating Kadian psionicists to settle clan disputes.

The majority of people here, despite having staff experience on other games, would not be welcome applying to ARM staff.

The majority of people here who post and have demonstrated good or bad ideas, would not be welcome applying to ARM staff. (In my opinion).
