Hmmm, okay, according to you dudes, it's the minor's fault if they allow themselves to be sexually exploited in such a way.
And uhh, I very seriously doubt the law says that it's OKAY... Sorry. I think you're wrong that it's legal to simulate sexual acts in any way with a minor, even if they were "asking for it."

Pedophiles do not talk down to kids & treat them with respect and listen to them. This is not the case with an average adult, and kids see right through it. Kids like pedophiles very much, whom they do not see as a heavy-handed authority figure, but rather, as a sort of "older" PEER. That is what confuses the general public about the motivations and methods of pedophiles. Society assumes the pedophile views the child as an object, and uses his/her superior smarts/abilities/experience to control the child to extract sex. But pedophiles do not do this and never advocate such tactics! It goes against their very nature to do that! The reason society falls for this assumption is it is "transferring" what IT would do if in that situation. Since "regular" adults do not really respect or understand children, they assume the same mindset applies to pedophiles-and it does not! A "regular" adult does not understand pedophilia or pedophiles, & so they assume the pedophile is approaching the situation as a "regular" adult with a perverted streak in them-bent on taking advantage of children-since that is what the average "regular" adult could see himself/herself doing if they were sex maniacs looking for an easy outlet to prey on. But pedophiles are not this way-we are not predators looking for targets! Being a pedophile is a way of life-not a sick perversion.

Newsflash: words aren't actions. Literature is protected as not pornographic material, which is why smutty novels can be sold in public.
Sexual Relations = tangible media or physical reaction. Not words.
You can't rape someone with words, which is what you are claiming here. You can't expose a minor against his will to graphic material, because by evidence of the situation, he is seeking it out himself AND moreover, literature is not graphic material by rule of law.

No. No one argued it's anyone's fault if they're 'sexually exploited', best I can tell. We argued that -you- went somewhere -you- shouldn't, didn't tell anyone, and are trying to blame them for something they obvious had no knowledge of. If they -did- have knowledge of it, and they continued, sure, then call them pedos, bury'm under the jail and I'll find you a few twelve step programs(or whatever, you're the fella who can probably correct me on what they're actually called). I assume again we're talking about you being fourteen in reality. And fuck, even then this would be your fault for going somewhere you shouldn't. They would be fucked up for continuing, I'll agree, but your fault for going where you shouldn't. People that go into a grocery store don't usually get in there and ask why there's food for sale. I don't think your "it's literature" argument would really hold up in a court of law.
you know, the first time I used Telnet - and how I learned about MUDS coincidentally - was called "Just 4 Kids." It didn't take long to be introduced... I was maybe 12... But it's like, I think there should be guards against adult-minor mud sex action. Maybe there are and I'm not aware.
Either way, you can argue with me all day long about how it's cool to diddly minors and how it's cool if it's only text, but like, regardless of whether I qualify for 12 step programs, I know that a lot of people (not trolls) will agree with me.

I'm not faulting you for your actions. I'm just saying that what you were doing is fine under the law. It would be like walking into a seedy hood, buying weed, and then blaming the drug dealer for selling you weed (in this parallel world where weed is legal to buy). You put in the effort to reach this conclusion, and you as a consenting party are just as "guilty" as the other party, which is not guilty at all.

I'm not sure why you would want to bring up something from 10 plus years ago, but it seems like unless you kept logs of mudsex where you're like "no, I don't want to do this" you probably don't have a legal leg to stand on.
I don't think people are reacting to your revelation because it's not that big of a deal.
