yeah unless theres some variation on skill caps and cutpurse is higher in some skills than rogue it looks pretty unbalanced for being the same cgp lvl

Yeah, I'd say Rogue is firmly better than Cutpurse. The only thing good about cut purse is you can branch sap off of steal in like 3-5 days. If you want a fast track to sap. But my guess is that rogue pick skill is probably 2nd only to burg.
So Assassin/Rogue is probably a nifty combo, as you get to scan faster, and get higher pick. Oh, and, being able to peak into people's pockets / steal their poison cures and perraine daggers before you fight is pretty handy (albeit time consuming). Especially in the rinth, where everyone carries weapons small enough to be stolen easily.

Did they sneak climb into the grebber extended subguild recently?
Or has it always been there?
I seem to remember being disappointed about the extended successor of the scavenger subguild not having climb.

It's been there awhile now. Still very disappointing, only gets to JM maybe advanced. Completely worthless for more than two rooms if you want to risk falling and killing yourself.

JM is fine with climbing gear imo. Unless you're doing one of those 15 room climbs.

I think the staff add it by hand. I've never had a bard in the circle so I don't know. But I'm certain the subguild doesn't start with the skill. This is how it works. Apparently it was too easy to abuse to make money, unlike those other crafting subguilds. Bards used to have it. it didn't take long for people to figure out how to make flutes from cheap bones and dye packets and then sell the shit out of them. I was one of them. Heh. what was interesting about instruments is that they could be sold at component stores. |

Can parry and/or shield use reach master for a protector? As of two years ago they did. Have no idea if that's still true, though. |
