This is a long character report back and forth but it is an example of Talia at her best. She is helpful, asks for clarification, supportive, and gives constructive criticisms. Nothing special but an example of a positive staff interaction of one of the staffers I enjoyed working under.Wilem (Jeshin)

Summary
These reports are literally on the top of my to do list most days. In the IG words of Wilem: "It's a quiet week" - On a week he's looking for a murderer and speaking with Templars. In the future, I'm probably going to send these in every five days. It'll be easiest if I just list off everything in bulletin form with a quick blurb. If you guys have any questions, then I can take the time to outline it. There is quite a lot.
Aide Stuff
1) Magickal Archway
2) Sorceress - Killed
3) Sorceror - Suspected
4) Izlin the Drovian
5) Supplies for the Pupils
6) Junior Aide Sayyida
7) Helping out Virilian Fale
8) Middle Man for the Masses
9) Nilazi Got Caught
10) Bitchy Mercenary
1 - Magickal Archway
Current assignment is to work with Grack to investigate the archway using 1 mundane which we are permitted to execute afterwards to keep its existance secret. The archway was found by a tribal Paval and then Raja. Raja got killed after passing through it and Paval was traumatized. Kick, Grack, and Wilem were involved to varying degrees. Wilem more as a middle man passing information. Paval has since died.
2 - Sorceress - Killed
With the help of Kick a sorceress was identified at the watercave. Then located a second time. Wilem informed the Templerate bing bong boom. Dead sorceress, go team Allanak.
3 - Sorceror/Nilazi - Suspected
Weird magickal negation thing happened to Gemmer Ember in the husk, east of the city. Suspected Sorc or Nilazi roaming the salts. Possibly the one Lyvren failed to kill the first time.
4 - Izlin the Drovian
Was a suspected spy for the Sorceress that was slain. Ended up claiming to be a pawn that was being manipulated. Took the Gem and was saved by Sayyida's Nilazi friend [or just Sayyida] She now works for Wilem because there are no Pupil slots. She outted the nilazi to Kalakiin though, from the sound of it.
5 - Supplies for the Pupils
Byn contract, 2000 sid for supplies from the north. Including sapphrie and slate which the Pupils have been clamoring for. Will also be used to collect herbs for Lord Oash's collection and cures.
6 - Junior Aide Sayyida
I can't even blurb this. Hired, nilazi, really good Aide, ask if you want the whole huge assessment.
7 - Helping Out Virilian Fale
Basically Psuedo-Aiding for Virilian to help her succeed. I've interceded when Akram was a suspected murderer and informed her while covering it up. I'm introduced Dima to various appropriate characters. I'm also working on an Owl plot with the Arabeti. Essentially a little noble player involvement that is doubling as a social experiment. Lord Oash is informed on all this.
8 - Middleman for the Massess
Wilem is middlemanning or encouraging a lot of deals between individuals. Most notably Sielen and Vokna.
9 - Nilazi Got Caught
Sayyida's a Nilazi [re-enforcing all Aides being high karma
except the wayward ranger!] Wilem knows now, he's waiting to report to Ark. Kalakiin is making a powerplay and Wilem is more concerned about Oashi interests then anything.
10 - Bitchy Elite Merc
Meso found a merc on wall road, log below. I'm sort of baffled why a recruit of my own House would be disrespectful and not just go. I'm not sure, I'll head back there right now or something.
The wide-faced dwarf sends you a telepathic message:
"Aide Wilem, I am on wall road looking at Morrigan, a mercenary of Oash, who has a key on her wrist."
[wilem arrives on wall road]
Tilting her head to one side, the scarred, dark-haired mercenary says, in sirihish:
"My name is Morrigan."
Walking up and brushing back his hood, you say to the scarred, dark-haired mercenary, in sirihish:
"Good morning Morrigan. I am Aide Wilem, personal servant to Lord Arkuthenes Oash."
Curiously, you ask the scarred, dark-haired mercenary, in sirihish:
"Wha' are you doing so far from tha' barracks with a key?"
A staff member sends:
"No clan staff available right now, put in a report."
Scowling, the scarred, dark-haired mercenary asks you, in sirihish:
"Eh?"
Reaching out and tapping his own wrist and then his neck, you ask the scarred, dark-haired mercenary, in sirihish:
"You are an Elite Oashi recruit, yes?"
The scarred, dark-haired mercenary swings around on a booted foot.
Jerking head back around to view you, the scarred, dark-haired mercenary says to you, in sirihish:
"Aye an' I hadn't noticed you were my fucking boss."
The scarred, dark-haired mercenary moves on down the road without a backward glance.
Personal Stuff
1) Dot's disappearance
2) Overworked and no sleep
3) Never a moment truly to himself
4) Goldy, Dru, and Sielen his closest friends
5) A penchant for wine
6) Oote, Larna, and Equi... The Gals love Wilem
7) Becoming nervous, distracted, and whiny
8) Still salting on the off days

Jeshin,
As I'm sure you've seen, Maeve was able to post your drinking competition rumor for you. Other than that I think you're all good to go with your plans. When you get ready to hand out bribes to the barkeeps, you can either put in a request and we can agree on a time for animation, or you can log your interaction with the NPCs and then send that in a request and we can let you know what the result of your effort was.
If there's anything else you need to know, or other support you need for your event, please do let us know. It sounds like a good time.
Your Character Report request has been resolved.

I'll reply to the rest of your report later, but briefly, the NPC in question is not actually Oashi.

Jeshin,
Try #2 as my last one went through blank.
Magickal archway: "investigate the archway using 1 mundane which we are permitted to execute afterwards to keep its existance secret."Not a fan of this. Seeing as how you are in a position of some measure of responsibility and power (as an aide to a noble in a powerful house) and Grack is as well (both codedly and as an Oashi employee), it behooves you to become LESS willing to PK and more discerning about when to do so. That is to say, using your ability/power to PK just because you can sucks for the game and makes me unhappy. Preserving secrets is not, in my opinion, a good enough reason to PK. Note that I'm not forbidding you from doing it, but I am saying OOCly I think poorly of PKing for flimsy reasons.
Plotting harm: Something that seems like it may be missing from your report is any details about how and what Wilem is plotting against other PCs or organizations. If you are attempting to have harm come to other PCs by any means (directly, indirectly, codedly, socially, etc.) then we'd like to know about those plots. Can you please elaborate about who you may be plotting against, how, and why? We want to know about this not so we can stop you from doing it, but simply so that we know and can deal with whatever IC consequences may come to Wilem and/or the House.

Magickal Archway - Grack and I are actually pretty leery about actual kills. He and Wilem might talk a big game, but we're both extremely sensitive to just dropping someone off a cliff. I believe kills that Wilem has authorized or asked Grack to do are... Breed whore trying to get Derin. Derin and Grack arranged it first, Wilem walked in. Bart the stumpy spy, which is outlined. Asked to have Crott offed for his involvement in Jerissa's murder. Realistically though Corse was the one who found and nearly killed him. Grack was more of a finisher. In every case I feel like things had moved to a point that Grack and Wilem's involvement seemed natural. Just wanted to hopefully put you at ease about that.
One of the reason the Archway hasn't had any progress in over 1 OOC week is Wilem/Me trying to pick the right way to handle this without having to off someone.
Actions Against Other Houses/People
Lord Templar Kasix - Wilem has mentioned the incident where the new Templar basically let a known murderer and criminal go and then left him in a cell while he was trying to assist the militia. Never in an overly public place. The Templar has gotten a reputation amongst people "in the know" about being pretty quick to accept bribes. Otherwise this is just a small little pinprick Wilem wanted to throw out there.
Dima [the reedy blonde woman] - Dima followed Wilem almost into the barracks while sneaking. Wilem knows about this so he's related the story of Dima botching a storytelling performance to Lady Templar Oash privately at his patio. She's starting to get the nickname Dim Dima in Wilem's circles.
Volston? - This guy is way to public about his thieving and the like. Per Lord Oashs orders that Virilian is supposed to succeed over Serendipity. Wilem is trying to have Volston? framed for a little thieving against a House. Sayyida is handling that through our rinthi contacts. This is as much to keep some thriving political RP as to use our rinthi contacts and also balance out some of the bad gossip about Dima.
Izlin the Drovian - She's erratic, unstable, untrustworthy. It's kind of up in the air how I'm handling this. The woman is prone to unintelligable remarks relating to different topics then what's being discussed. I might just have to have her watched or beat her or something. I don't know, she's sort of this big conflict ridden problem. I may just have to be very very scary.
... Those are all the people which I OOC intend on persuing harmful or aggressive plotlines against. Other instances are more likely brief IC reactions or more character fluff than serious plots. If I missed anyone and you're curious. Just ask about them by name / sdesc and I'll be able to clarify
On a side note, am I greenlit to post up an Oashi rumor about a drinking competition? Ark has given me permission, I don't believe there's going to be any significant staff work required. I intend on handling a lot of the setup myself with PC support. I do need to know if a multi-location event Gaj, Red's, somewhere else noble-ish. Is possible [more likely a 2 place event] and also whatever coin or expenses I need to handle VNPC wise.
Details thus far...
* Kadian Flame & Oashi Brown to be drinks
* Kadian food provided for free at location
* Fee for entry comes with an offer for a discount purchase of Flame and Oashi Brown together
* Winner will get a 6000 sid Kadian hat, because that's happening woo.
* Winner will get the title drinking champion of Allanak
* Kurac will be involved as judges since then held the last one.

Jeshin,
Thank you for the extra information and update about arch plot and plots against PCs. That really helps us be clearer about what's happening and what your intentions are. Often we hear things peripherally from other players, so getting it from the source is more illuminating.
Drinking competition: "am I greenlit to post up an Oashi rumor about a drinking competition? Ark has given me permission" Yes, as far as I'm concerned, you're free to post a rumor about the event(s) you want to run. In general, if you're going to run an RPT that's open to the city at large, you're fine to post a rumor about it on the in-game board and/or put up an RPT announcement on the Player Announcements forum on the GDB.
About location and funding for the event(s), I'd need more details. What do you mean by "multi-location" venue? What specifically are you planning to do at this event? Politically/financially, what's in it for House Oash? What kind of funding are you asking for, if any, and what will that cover? In effect, the House wants to know what's in it for them. OOCly I'm totally in favor of fun events within the city, ICly I need to make sure that events which have official House backing make sense from that perspective.

Oashi Drinking Competition HOW / WHY
Due to Oash being upper tier and obviously Reds being inappropriate for over half the cities PC population. It was commented that we might run two competitions at the same time. One drinking competition in Reds and one drinking competition in the Gaj. The Gaj one would have less perks, less rewards, less everything, and not give the title of drinking champion. It's more of the rabbles contest. The Reds competition would have more offered, more prizes, and actually give the title of drinking champion
The purpose of the competition from a House side is to promote our Oashi Brown Vintage Spirits. A drink for commoners and upperclass looking for something with a little bite. That's why we're going to offer Flame / Brown spirit to people who pre-register. The whole point is to remind the city Oash isn't all about them Gickers. We're about booze booze an booze. It's also to pick up an annual event with the title of drinking competition that Oash can own and run whenever they want.
When I was speaking on expenses though, Wilem basically told Ark that he's covering as much of the expenses personally as he can. He is managing that House Fund that the Pupils and he are putting into with crafting and selling of items afterall. I just need to know if Reds/Gaj need to be paid for use of the buildings and stuff like that. All expenses should be covered via Wilem otherwise.

Jeshin,
Good details. I think from an Oashi perspective this makes a lot of sense, as indeed it's true that Oash is about more than just 'gickers. Promoting the business gets a big thumbs-up.
Can I ask, why offer both Flame and Brown? I think I'm missing something in the logic there. Is it intended to be a taste-test sort of thing?
On locations: I think if the competitions are expected to draw a significant crowd who will be purchasing their own drinks/food, then no fee would need to be paid for location rental. But, if the crowd mostly is not going to be drinking/eating from what the tavern offers, then the barkeep will want a cut of the take or a nice fat bribe. What are your thoughts on this?

In true Allanak fashion I am going to want to bribe them. The event(s) will be geared towards selling Oashi and Kadian goods, now as to the Oashi Brown / Flame. When I was organizing the event I looked at political groups in the city who might be involved. Also which groups would likely benefit from it as well as us without stealing the show.
OOC
I think the Kadians could use a hand. I really don't want another Kadian biting the dust. I think Vokna is just coming into her role slowly, from my outsiders view point. I think they could use the publicity because everyone always thinks Kadians poof instantly. I just think they need a little help getting involved so people take them seriously on an OOC level.
IC
Kadians provided booze for the last competition. Flame is the standard drinkers drink from what I can tell. Kadians are very well connected with pleasure, booze, and luxury. Wilem wants to make the connection between Oash and Kadius offering similar wares. It's easier to sell something people don't have experience with something people are familiar with. He's planning on piggybacking Oashi Brown onto the sale of Flame by having them sold together. This way if someone wants that discount on Flame they get for registering early, then they have to get the Oashi brown as well. That and involving them on the drinking competition means a better deal on food for it.
