So say a band of board trolls from here infiltrated the mud. Ten or so. Then knock out/kidnap a bunch of people. Then have one guy kill them all only him/her getting the debuff while the others remained undebuffed to KO the rest who come to help, always leaving the one guy to get the kill and bloodaura and revealed. Let's do it.

No you can't do that because there is a fix for the loophole in the Understanding... If you do something which you OOCly know violates the understanding but isn't codedly flagged to auto taint your aura for violation. There is a command to self taint basically saying I RPed violating the understanding but because the game code does not support this I acknowledge I should be tainted.

You do realize that the Cold war had actual wars in Korea, Vietnam, and the middle-east right? Also both the US and Russia killed shittons of spies and suspected spies on both sides. To claim a cold war is about humiliation when it's really about murdering your opponent with plausible denability is just drinking the Haven staff koolaid.
PS - Having sex make you open to murder is either the most heavy handed approach to discouraging mudsex I have ever seen or it is just dumb.

1) You can't call for help if you're ambushed correctly, i.e., dragged into the deep shroud. No comms work there.
2) Breaking the Understanding gives you huge debuffs. It's not an instant death sentence. People have survived with bloodaura before but it does take knowing the grid pretty well.
3) Sex can sometimes cause the protection on your character to drop, it's one of the RNG based things that happen in Haven. So yes, murdersex could be a thing but mostly isn't. Because Haven is full of drama whores and cuddle bunnies and being dead generally stops both those things.
4) You can theoretically rape someone until their protection drops and kill them after without being outed.
5) Some crimes are auto-reported, some are not. This is a game where knowing the system works to your advantage in a major way. As such, newbies often suffer.
6) There is essentially a mercy on mode you can use to, yes, knock someone out without any major repercussions. It's called knockoutpunch.

Is there no coded language? Looks like he is emoting his words. That's a big no-no in RP worlds where anyone can hang around and understand your language even if they don't have the skill.
Looks like a MUSH to me. MUSH = unrealistic so not my cup of tea.

There is coded language. People who have second languages tend to use the second language command.
Haven's codebase is generally messy from a user-end and subject to constant tinkering from one of two admins. There are a lot of bugs and hitches to it and it's not unusual for it to go down for long periods at a time. Arm is comparatively extremely stable.

How do you know they used OOC info IC? It's not in the log?! Because Layla was my friend on AIM and I told her what happened. her character never found out IC. Supposedly her boyfriend 'saw' me but he had no pictures or videos despite having a phone and they mentioned the other character by -name- (the female I was being unfaithful with to my girlfriend) something only Layla personally knew. Lol you're so stupid, I mean really. Didn't you learn anything on Sindome? Just because you didnt' see it happen doesn't mean it didn't? The guy has like 5 Stealth which is max and 5 lockpick, so unless you have 5 perception, you aren't going to notice someone peeking inside your room briefly.
