What are the variables with weapon and armor stats?
What is the range for the variables?
I'd guess dice rolls with damage.
Seems like there is an accuracy to weapons.
Various bonus to skills
Is stun damage a separate dice roll with damage dice rolls, or is it a formula based off damage?
Is armor better/worse against different attack types like in Diku?
Is it just flat armor rating?

Regarding your last question:
The thing about armor in armageddon is it's BROKEN.
The stats are so fucked up that I don't think anyone has the time or patience to fix them.
It MAY be different now, but when I looked at the stats some time ago I seem to remember some LEATHERS having a better armor rating than Silt Horror shell armor.

In keeping with RPG stereotypes, im assuming the leather thong is greater than Silt Horror shell armor.

Why hasn't melon breast been iced yet?
Also, when my dwarf with braxat greaves kept getting reeled by mobs, I knew armor was shit. All about stats and skills

When my beastly warrior I'm running gets skilled up enough I'm going to run around with a thong, codpiece and a leather bra and that's it.
Oh yeah, and request a desc change with melon breasts in it.

Odds are massage oil has a fairly high armor rating, too. Dont overlook that while you're assembling your armor of invincibility, lyse. |
