Ah, that would explain, I was over one of them. When I was over tribals/indies, Akai Sjir was one of the tribes. That was before they moved Nyr from indies to Tuluk and moved Akai Sjir from indies to Tuluk subsequently. I know I was one of their staff, because it was flagging reports about it for me from the request tool.

Initial reports of sekrit Tuluki rpt claim Uaptal is either completely gone or the current chosen was assassinated by other houses. Lets get some more intel.

How many are still standing? How many will be left? Is Tuluk's noble house number growing to be like the core cast of walking dead? Something which shrinks at random in huge numbers or small numbers alike, each loss met with a mixture of a wince and a ''bout time'? XD

After speaking with my contacts this is roughly the picture...
Tenneshi + Winrothol (maybe) + Byn were instrumental in wiping out the Uaptal Chosen Family. A handful or 1 survived to be married off into other families for some unknown reason. I do want to point out the byn helped conquer tuluk, the byn helped nak fight tuluk during the volcano hrpt, and now Tuluki houses are employing the byn in their 'sekrit' wars?

Interesting. So with Uaptal gone, and Negean gone, that leaves... Tenneshi, Winrothol, Dasari, Lyksae... I know I'm missing some but I'm too lazy to look, but if I'm not, that's 1/3 of the noble houses closed down, not counting the *Hlum.

I'm thinking the staff are going to re-open the Lyskae Chosen House by popular demand and their justification will be wiping out Hlum, Negean, and Uaptal. Sort of a, you guys asked for it so we did it and this was the -only- way to accomplish that goal... Yep.

Instead of just opening the notoriously MOST tribal of the tribal houses when the levies were opened. >.< I think part of the reason they're closed is that the lyksaen warriors are typically slavez and we all know the slavery policy. Heh.

No pc slaves. If you are a slaver, it does not matter, if you choose to enslave someone, they become a vnpc and their character is stored. Doesn't make for a lot of compelling play in a house whose most elite warriors are slaves, I'm thinking.

Does anyone have any experience playing a slave in Tuluk?
I recall reading the applications for a warrior slave call for Lyksae 7 or so years ago, but never actually got to do anything with them. Can they be interesting to play in Tuluk? Or are they too close knit with their house nobles? I remember dealing with the Lyksae Noble, who was actually very impressive and an in depth character, but I could never truly grok Lyksae as a house.

He got savagely pk'd by some Tor warriors. The name started with a B... anyone remember?

I fondly recall Ehrick the Lyksaen slave (I could swear he was a slave) from around the beginning of 2008, he was great. One of the really great folks to interact with in early 2008 era Tuluk.
