PS - My only 2 player complaints ever were those 2 I filed on the same PC over a 2 month period of time. I remember a while back when I was playing in Tuluk, or maybe I was just visiting Tuluk at the time, Elrum or whatever your new name was at the time was playing a song quietly in that Kadius inn and minding his business, and we were minding our own business, then suddenly a Staff decides to animate an NPC who totally starts insulting Elrum/verbally pissing all over him to the point where me and my friends, who honestly were not big fans of Elrum at the time, felt OOCly super bad about what your PC was going through via that Staff-animated NPC. It was like some Staff had decided to suddenly just take a whole crap all over your PC and found the perfect moment to humiliate you in front of as many people as they could find. Not going to wonder who that Staff who animated that NPC was, now, heh.

Double Jeopardy. The Kadian staffer who had a hardon for hating me is the player of Prim Driamusek (who still plays in Tuluk). Funny how Kadius has a problem with Elrum and she swoops in and becomes Kadius' newest star bard and gets unique items from NPCs. Huh?

Holy shit, if there ever was a PC who you could instantly tell was being played by a Staff member that was indeed Prim. She was/is in a relationship ICly with a guy that I always suspected of being a Staff played PC as well. So many PCs in Tuluk in the end would just appear during RPTs then you would never see them again, it was all really bizarre. The super strong blonde bard woman who would take on bahamets by herself comes to mind as well.

Blonde bard is Zarah and I can assure you she isn't a staffer. She is just a warrior person who auditioned into the Circle. She was a medicore bard, great soldier, she was just someone who loved stories and songs about battle really which is in line with the docs. Zarah became powerful by sparring with Elrum, Aon, and Beldyn a lot. Also she had some godly stats which I found out when I did a family role on Shadows of Isildur with her (I never spoke to her OOCly until I quit AMR). Nice woman, not a staffer, and to my knowledge never took advantage of anyone in ARM. When I finally release my Elrum masterlog they have a lot of interactions where others can judge her RP.
As for not being around, she had RL stuff which put her in extreme off-peak. We thought she was dead at least 3 times due to her just not logging in.

Fair enough, I just remembered her when I was thinking of all the PCs I would always meet during the RPTS in Tuluk and never see them again. I was playing Khalyat (Khal) at the time so yeah, I remember how badass Beldyn was and how Aon & Zarah would take on bahamets together. Fun times. Doesn't beat Tuluk 2006, but still fun! (I like to think that I was part of why Sharlo got murderized, but I prefer for Kronibas to think that Nyr did it! Heh Heh Heh) Holy cow, when I remember Tuluk 2006 it almost brings tears to my cynical eyes, so many plots within plots within plots within plots it would make GoT look like a teen novel today.

confirmd this was still okay to post. I got it a while ago from someone Nyr drove off. My understandng is he was cool with all the other imms he dealt with. But Nyr overshadowed them with his Nyrness. Old story. Anyhow, this is the last thing Vanderhuge ever sent in to the game.
And yes. Some of you would correctly guess i got some of my information on the Tuluki Collapse of 2013 from him. But now you won't. Because I ruined that for you.

Malken, the bone I have to pick with it is the NPC of a staff member who had been in control of a clan less than a month weighing in like that. Really seemed like OOC bias on Nyr's part, though I am not ignorant on other factors, Malken.
For an imm to never interact with a PC OOCly or ICly from the time he takes over a new clan, only making an appearance in game to condemn a PC, then that's a little fishy.
Ender knowing Sharlo had RANGZ probably didn't help either, so lulz at me dropping off all magick and metal loot before meeting with him.

Great post, Bitterflashback, and it corresponds with my idea that nyr was sabotaging my mastercraft items.
The thing about my mastercraft items that haven't been tampered with is that they are extremely popular. See :
Silt-camo horror shell greathelm.
And, oh yeh guise, barbed Salarri war spear... You're welcome.
So to have made great items like these and have more contemporary submissions TOTALLY ALTERED, yeah, no, that I why I was discouraged that my last merchant, Harar, with 50 days and 1+ year RL of surviving, was not even able to complete a SINGLE master crafting item.
And when it was finally implemented, with only one sdesc word remaining the same, the recipe did not work, and they didn't fix it.

Yeah, I was kidding and mostly rambling on about how awesome Tuluk 2006 was since we all knew just a little about everything but it was also mostly due to how much stuff was going on at the time. Try to even achieve 1/10 of what most of us lived through during that time nowadays, hah. And Bitter, that's pretty sad but at this point it mostly reminds me of that Indiana Jones gif on how they probably handle complaints about Nyr on the Staff board.

It's already incredibly dumb playing a merchant sometimes on a game whose RPTs and HRPTs are combat intensive (sigh at the fun I have missed while playing a merchant), but when you are unable to efficiently do the one thing that makes merchant really attractive, coming up with neat stuff for other players to have, it becomes a huge hassle because your submission gets picked apart. Even if you have an English degree and have played merchants on Arm for RL years and have spent so much time staring at item short descs that it probably equals more time actually having sex IRL.
So how about you just let me submit my item, not fuck with its sdesc, because that's why I'm playing a character who can basically die at almost any moment... To make cool shit. That will make OTHER players happy. My merchant isn't making a camouflage dildo to fuck his own ass, he's making it so the Bynners will have something COOL that someone made for THEM that doesn't suck because a staff member changed every effing word of the sdesc....
edit: my bad, the imms left the word "hooded" in the sdesc.

yeah, I really dont get why mastercrafts are so time consuming. i have experience making custom items in Arm when i was on staff. It's mostly a copy and paste operation when somebody writes one for you.

I think they didn't like the fact that Harar and Koman Locke were talking about making our own mercenary company and trying to pull in characters like Armali and some other badasses at the time, like Rolan and Bahk, so they stalled what would have been the first piece of the uniform as hard as they fucking could to prevent it from ever taking off. They also turned us down down for a warehouse while we were Bynners, and when Harar left the Byn, they ignored my warehouse request until he died, then almost immediately released the new guidelines for warehouse rentals. ?

I didn't say shit, but at the time it was incredibly disappointing because so much momentum had built up around the group, and it could have taken off if we had been facilitated instead of stonewalled.
