I have heard a mage is able to summon a floating eyeball that allows them to see hidden things? Maybe gives them scan of some sort?
Is this true, and if it is which mage is it, for some reason I've always though it was drovians? If it is true, is it like an elemental of some sort? Or just a visible spell like when you have stoneskin or floating lights on you?

Drovians get infravision which lets them see hidden I'm pretty sure. Summon eyeballs? Never ever heard of that on any of the normal magick guilds.. Maybe something halaster implemented for his plainsman buddies.

They can see hidden perfectly. It shows as "A blue outlined shape" or something like that?

There is also no lag between it like with scan. It's as if the person isn't even hidden you can target them without getting the "you don't see a shadow here" shit you get with scan

Wow. Can see hidden from three rooms away as well or you need to be in the same room?
Also on a side note, what does drovian curse exactly do?

can see from 3 rooms away. Curse I believe lowers all of their stats a mon curse would put every stat at poor I believe. Could be wrong about this though. I never really got into magick guilds

One more question that is unrelated, if you lose the strength to wield or hold a weapon, but you are already holding it and/or wielding it do you automatically stop wield/holding it?

Uh. Good fuckin' question. I don't think so. You could test it with spice. I really don't think you do.

you do not drop it and it does not lose any combat power in itself. if you do not remove the weapon you will still be able to use it, but if you remove it you will not be strong enough to equip it again until the stats grow back. curse will make you clumsy and i think drop your weapon like the psi skill disorient ((i think)). drovs are easy, easy, EASY to kill so do not worry. i have killed two and the worst that happened is they made me scared and flee for many rooms before it wore off and i killed them with dwarf bludgeons in neck and head. the second i killed with my burglar by waiting for them to send shadow and killing them as they watched sexing in apartments. all drovs live for watching people having sex so it is the best time for striking at them. drovs exist for pervert players so it is best to kill them out of decency

I might make an anti-drov assassin concept based on this

all drovs live for watching people having sex so it is the best time for striking at them. beyond exploring, if they haven't fixed it where drovians can't overhear talk at a table or whispers then yeah that really is all they're pretty much good for.

Uh... that really shouldn't be a problem, given that house servant has listen to advanced (for the whispering), and if you 'follow' someone at the table, you can overhear nearly everything that's said.

Not since blind fighting was implemented. Unless the drovian is planning on talking you to death I'm pretty sure my 30 day well-equipped warrior with advanced slashing, advanced two handed and master parry will still stomp a magicker guild, blind or not.

Unless you meant to say that they can just blind you and walk away. Yes of course this is true.
