Not to derail a thread. Yeah, I have to agree with Spyguy on Masa. I played with him, and Wren, with my PC Al (Yes supertwink I know). Not point fingers at anyone here, but whoever told me this where did you get that info?! |

Not to derail a thread. Yeah, I have to agree with Spyguy on Masa. I played with him, and Wren, with my PC Al (Yes supertwink I know). Not point fingers at anyone here, but whoever told me this where did you get that info?! I played with his PC for over an RL year, trying to gather Ankheg armor. During that time, through guild sniffing, the only way he could have been a mindbender would have been if he was some crazy special app as a Psi with Two other guilds/Subguilds. I mean...Based on what I have seen these last few weeks, completely possible, but based on the data I have, not probable. |

I mean...Based on what I have seen these last few weeks, completely possible, but based on the data I have, not probable. Hadn't he been staff immediately prior playing Masa, or during the first part of play with him? That's what I was told, though I'd like to be proven wrong and would hope that isn't the case. He knew way too much about certain plots for me to trust that he wasn't at least getting deets from staff, if he wasn't staff himself... Or a bender. |

I have no evidence other than a lot of people told Masa a lot of things by the end. The PC was started years before he was in Salarr as a Byn quartermaster. Great backstory that staff did help to animate parts of over the RL years he was played. I know there was a gap between his initial play with the character and him joining the Garrison then Salarr. He just literally lived forever and had several long lived PCs in his pocket from either coin or history. |

That gap is what makes no sense. I heard that they started to play him back in 2016, which I was still playing at that time before my break in 2017, but don't remember really interacting with him or seeing their post in a monthly role call in the Byn.

It's deeply disappointing to see Obtutus back on the staff team. His name is ForearmedLurker on the r/MUD subreddit, and over the last few years, he played a major role in deflecting all sorts of complaints about Armageddon, especially pertaining to things related to sexual harassment and abuse. If staff are going to take complaints about sexual harassment seriously, hiring the person doing hatchet jobs on Reddit for the last few years against people complaining about the likes of Shalooonsh is not a very promising start. Safe to say Obtutus is off of staff specifically because of TedCruz's post. New staff policy states that staff need to conduct themselves well when talking about Armageddon and Obtutus's departure from staff is the only one not described as a resignation.
Staff managed to do the right thing here. Now tell us that Blaze is banned and you'll have earned 1% of my respect.
