the way he treated dman is par for the course for anyone old enough to remember when they didnt even try to seem unbiased with their kneejerk pkills and bans, the only difference now is that its suddenly a bannable offense for an opionated vet to share an unpopular opinion abt ooc shit that has nothing at all to do with the game lolol

aparently the game is also hemoraging players badly (ive heard the numbers are even lower than before. election season, right? ) and meanwhile old nessie just keeps whiteknuckling the rope that is stringing his game up

Geeze. Yeah, there are folks who do get moderated - and will continue to in the future - who will never get (permanently) banned due to being in the 'in' crowd.

I do have some opinions about what you posted over there. I'll start by saying that hanging around folks who make consistent sexist/racist remarks makes me very uncomfortable, at the very least, regardless of context. 

Racism is pretty rare this far north though. And I'm pretty young. I can see someone being older (thirties, forties, etc. I think each generation gets a touch less racist/sexist) and living down south having to put up with people talking like that. A lot of the country is racist/sexist, and that comes across more in some situations. So is it fair to say that Donald Trump is some kind of normal for saying racist or sexist things? In some parts of America, probably. Texas comes to mind. I mean I don't exactly see eye to eye with you, but I hardly think that expressing that thought should be a bannable. You're probably accurately representing the area that you're in. People there will say stupid shit like Trump, and you're going to have a good time with the friends you can have opposed to punching someone in the face every time you hear something stupid - in your case, a lot. So you could see yourself having a laugh with Trump because, being accustomed to said bigotry/whatever, it's not a criteria that's realistic for you to use when seeking company. It makes him seem normal because it's normal there. I can see that. Some parts of America are much more racist/sexist than others. Maybe you're close to a few baptist churches lol. 

It hasn't been my experience that it's normal everywhere for the guys to say racist/sexist things while having a good time. That sucks that it is there.

I actually think Trump says some stuff like that to a) get media attention and b) to get votes of a large portion of our country that is sexist/racist/etc. He has a huge marketing team, money behind it, and has been planning this for years. He's being advised on walking the narrow line between getting the votes of said demographic and not getting the votes of all other republicans. That said, it takes a certain amount of legitimate racism, I think, to be willing to use it as a marketing strategy. So he's not off the hook. Definitely misogynistic too, but I think that loses focus with racism in sight. And to anyone who would say that he's obviously a racist/sexist bigot to all, I assure you that there are Republicans voting for him that do not think so. My mother is one ("Being obnoxious isn't a crime," best reason to vote for a president I'm sure). Apparently, he's walking that line to some success.

Wait, wtf Dman? Did they just revoke your posting priveleges or...? Please tell me you didn't get banned from the game itself.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I find Dman repugnant on many levels, but I also respect him and his right to express his views, I'm actually slightly tempted to give him a swift kick in the ribs while he's down, but in the end,I know I'm no better than him, and despite whatever I may like or dislike about him, I'd rather hear his opinion than someone like, say, Evil Cabbage's(who has proven a few times he enjoys nothing less than kicking someone who's down, and I don't want to be that guy), who is just a teabagging, asslicking douche. What'd they even ban Dman for? I can't even look, being banned myself... anyway, who gives a fuck what I like or dislike about someone else?

Dman, if you're interested in building a gameworld, I'm sure Vintrius can always use more help. Athasmud is quickly approaching a closed beta testing phase, according to my current understanding, and with dead weight like me, they likely could use someone who, you know, actually gets shit done.

Aside from that, I'm not going to speak on the matter, either way I went I'd likely be jumping to conclusions. It's ever been my experience that, while I don't particularly like Dman, he has been one of the better players I've had the opportunity to RP with. Whatever the fuck happened, makes me sad, and I get the nagging feeling it may have been a very bad choice on their part. The last time they fucked with him, he fucked back, and hard. I doubt there'll be a lot of bells and whistles this time, though, because at a point one has to ask themselves, is my positive contribution doing, anything at all? If I was him, I'd be like, ftfy, I got better shit to do with my time. Instead I'm just a fucking lunatic with an empty life who keeps crawling back for more abuse.

I swear, the only thing I /LIKE/ about Armageddon are my fellow players and the environment some of them strive to create. There's also some good staffers, who provide some quality animations and enforce the virtual environment, and remind me, this is not a coded room, this is a place full of living, breathing people. During my break, I've been trying other games. Too often, there's a lack of, something, in these games. Elitist attitudes, players who respond to noobs like "u wot m8?" as opposed to trying to help them get their bearings. I won't slam the staff of these games (because it's largely the playerbase), or even call the games out, just saying, totally not as accessible and understandable as Arm. There's something about Arm's documented setting where, if you do something worthy of getting fucked over, that's what you get, if you don't, you usually don't. I'm not a huge fan of prom drama, which, I find a lot more frequently in other games.

That said, I'm sexist, I hate males because their brains get washed with retard levels of testosterone in the womb. I'm easily confused by women and most of them strike me as batshit insane... which, being batshit insane myself, at least I can identify. Moreso, I can't stand all the "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts", I can't personally stand the concept of, "This is what a man should be." or "This is what a woman is supposed to be.", but then, I'm a freaking weirdo so I like outsiders. I like puppies, and kittens, and waking up on the beach to an incoming storm. I like the moon, and I like making long, rambling, stupid posts on the internet that stand for nothing. I like to waste your time with words that strike you as if there's something there, if only you could see it, but the more you read it, the more you're like, what the fuck?! This is stupid and makes no sense. I also like being somewhere so remote and isolated, I can walk outside, look up into the dusty arm of the galaxy, and remind myself, you ain't shit. You see that up there? That's SO much bigger than you, you're just a fucking monkey on some backwater planet and are lucky medicine is more advanced than rubbing shit in your wounds, because you know they'd do it if the journals said so, and if you didn't let them, they'd screech loudly and throw poo all over internet forums because somehow you're endangering others by not letting them rub shit all over you.

I moved some comments to an off topic section where people are free to post their political thoughts on dman post and his explanation behind. I anticipate that it's going to be a lengthy affair.
