Armali's first day as trooper look.

You look down at the dark-haired young woman.
Though thin, she is lightly muscled and well toned, and long limbed.
For a human, she would be considered above average height. Dark locks fall
in a cascading mane of curly ringlets, well past her slender shoulders. It
frames the delicate features of her face. Through it all, her slightly
pointed ears are almost unnoticeable. A faint scar cuts across her left
brow, leaving a thin stripe of skin. Long, thick black lashes only stand to
accentuate her brilliant, golden-hued eyes. Though, they are surrounded by
dark rings that speak of lack of sleep. Her cheeks have a naturally
reddish hue to them, her natural skin tone being darker with reddish
undertones. It alone attests to hours in the harsh sun.
The dark-haired young woman is in excellent condition.

Well, I was permanently banned from the GDB........for.......posting things some people/certain staff don't agree with on a personal level.......

(Edited to Add: There is no copy of the original message I was sent when I was banned explaining why....because one doesn't exist. They couldn't explain why....I just went to login and couldn't and never got a single explanation.)

I sent in a request asking to be un-banned since nothing I posted was against the rules, obviously. It was an unpopular opinion/truth, sure, but not against the rules. The fact it is still there un-moderated in any form days later and other people are still talking about it says everything.

Which is a huge non-answer in the face of a lack of an answer (and a thinly veiled childish insult to the tune of "you are a stupid head and I don't like you"). How do you explain in any professional manner, "Well, some of us didn't like your opinion personally, and even though it isn't against the rules, we are going to take this opportunity to push our personal social agenda and abuse our power.". 

You really can't, so I can't blame them for not giving me an answer. I wouldn't want to answer to that either if I planned to save face. I was banned in a knee-jerk reaction based on personal emotions and feelings. If I were to be un-banned it would only substantiate that. So....there was never any chance I was going to be un-banned, to un-ban me would be admitting their failure.

Either way. This is the only place you can really post this sort of thing, and this sort of thing needs to be made public. I was just ousted from that community after all of these years for having an unpopular opinion, not breaking a rule, and nothing more. I was kicked out because, "You believe things we don't believe, and if you don't believe what we believe, you don't belong.".

It's ironic my only point was, "I don't feel that playing the thought police and censoring people's private sense of humor should be a thing.", and I was actually banned basically by said thought police.

Fair enough then. If that's the sort of community it's going to be these days, I agree with you that there's certainly not a place there for me on those forums.

I'll just continue to be a great player, when I feel like playing, and carry on. 

(I'm not here to get any opinions on this really. Feel free to leave an opinion if you like but I may not respond. I'm just posting this up because this is the only outlet in which to post it, and I feel this was an abuse of power. That sort of thing needs to be seen publicly. If nobody ever sees this sort of thing, then nothing can ever change for the better.)

I thought permaban gets a "Posting Privileges Revoked" title under your user name. It's not there on yours.

this seems to be a common thing with you. maybe you should consider having a blog instead of using a discussion board as your personal feelings outlet where people may or may not actually share their opinions and discuss things?
