I was actually going to come in and vent a bit about my recent ban, but all I can do is roll my eyes and laugh. It'd be like shouting into the void and makes me wonder if some of us really don't need a firm hand to keep the overblown dramatics to a minimum.

I think the overblown dramatics are a symptom of repressive policies, which give little outlet between hysterical hatred and cock-slobbering submission. Those that try to weave a middle ground, such as your honorable self, tend to get banned in the end anyways. I tried really hard for a long time to be polite with them, but it just made no difference. If I'm going to get the same reaction either way, I might as well tell them how I really feel. I think Nyr and Nessalin actually respected you a little bit more if you just flat out told them how fucking awful they are, rather than try to act nice, when they knew you hated them. It would probably shock people to know that despite getting banned from the GDB, I've never actually gotten docked karma or had my login privileges restricted. I've also never done anything to sabotage people in game, or try to harm those that were playing it, to vent my frustrations, such as angrily suiciding a character, etc. I think that people should dwell on that for a moment. That someone as nice, and reasonable and eager to please as RGS, eventually gets puts in his place, and treated even worse than me, a notorious and hateful asshole. |
