Having RPed with Malifaxis on a few occassions, Ppurg and Hunted, I must say every action his characters take oozes consideration for the fun of others. I know his forum posts are shitposts, but what I've seen from him has always been generous to other players, sometimes, too much so, which leads to destructive situations in what would otherwise be considered "fun". I don't like that part, but such is life. Criticizing a person for being centered around their ego, well, you may as well call a huge portion of humanity to the stand. We can't all be kung-fu monks living up in a monastary in the mountains and coming up with rediculous answers to rediculous questions. I know because his viewpoints are opposed to yours it makes it easy to find fault with his personality, but, I find it unjustified. Let's just stick with the fact that he's wrong here, and often is wrong. what he does in-game is irrelevant to his GDB posting. being a good player that takes others into account and fun to play around doesn't absolve someone from being characterized as a needlessly inflammatory shitposter. also why is it every time a malifaxis post gets cross-posted here I always see him making sure to inform everyone how much he totally doesn't care about what they think of him? like cool dude we get it, you TOTALLY DO NOT CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK thanks for making sure we know for the fifty millionth time before you start your overly wordy retort that most people just skip right over. got it dude you're a badass guy on the internet thanks. |

Mal has been banned for his flaming/baiting before. He also left staff on pretty bad terms, didn't he? Not quite so immune. He does get away with it too often though. Why his posts aren't deleted I don't really understand.

Grumble perhaps you can't appreciate the piss and vinegar of a shitpost, seeing as you do them yourself all the time. I don't care that the man is "caring" in-game; his behavior in-game is not what's contributing to the negative turn of discussion of the meta-elements of Armageddon, and it surely doesn't make up for it. You see Grumble, #realtalk I can let you get by with what you do because I know that you're just doing you. However, if you're sure that he's actually capable of being "caring", then his violently masturbatory rhetoric and his exploitation of his self-inflated rule-breaking invulnerability is a choice he consciously makes; and that's something I cannot forgive. I want to add to the differences between Grumble and Malifaxis. Malifaxis is a coward. I think it's the most damning thing that comes to mind about him, honestly. Waving your dick in front of someone's face when you know they're powerless to defend themselves is a very gutless thing to do. Grumble strikes me as much more of a 'I hit you expecting you to try and hit me' kind of guy. It's the little things like reveling in another's powerlessness that make one a sick demented fuck like Malifaxis vs Grumble. |

but under the weak facade he does give a shit, in fact he hates nyr (and has more reason to) prob more than most anybody on the sb, and prob still does to this day
